I have more confidence in some of our mcfers running the country than the 4Gs.

No direct/relevant experience.

I am not a free rider too.

I voted for WP and I do not want PAP to be govt.

I am surprised to hear some PAP backbenchers supporting an EP quota and the minister saying it is not unthinkable (just not wise)...

We now have a debate and G can then try to convince everyone why we should not go there and what measures will be taken to safeguard local jobs. If you don't deliver, then be prepared to answer to the voters during next GE and lose a few more GRCs.

60% gave them the mandate, so bobian.

They can continuen to defend how important the FTs or foreign PMETs are. They should not get themselves confused ,  no one is asking for zero FTs,  we  are asking that a limit of FTs be imposed. They can argue by saying how many more jobs have been created over the years, fact is people are feeling the pressure, people are not able to get a job, so good job PAP, the question  is how could you do better to help  the people? If they continue to defend the issue,  they will not likely to do anything about it,  4 years later, the 30s today will be 30s +4 the 40s today will be 40s +4, more will be booted out of their jobs in favor of FTs,  letting one the international competition  is going to be a lot more intense, more will be jobless, the GE outcome will not be 60% for sure. Unless they screw up only this social issue and do very well in many other aspects, which i am doubtful about it.

The more acceptable  respond should be for them to look into rebalancingn local jobs vs FTs. Defensive discussion is not going to help them.

No  problems can be resolved by crying.
