This round coe bid is after increased quota right? If yes, then really siao liao. Coe quota increased and yet still increased crazily high!

i think those car sharing, PHV and car rental company is going all out liao. All going to buy CAT B car as most hybrid and EV falls under that CAT. Imagine only 400+ CAT B but got 800+ bidder. And I also notice all media are trying to avoid to say the COE price increase is due to car sharing, PHV and rental company is buying more car to increase their car so that they can increase their profit.

Reason why phv/ car sharing companies  is buying up cars is due to some people forced out of private car ownership will have high chance turn to phv or car sharing as means of “ obtaining “ car ownership. If you have been forced out of car ownership you will know how torturous it is using public transport solely which is increasingly overcrowded.
