  1. Any SE able to explain if these terms mean the same thing? If different, what usage had these types of units undergone? There’re times I see advertisements using these terms that give some discounts. 1. Demo units 2. Display units 3. Event units 4. Management units 5. Have not seen advertisement saying “Test drive units”
  2. Just wondering. Is it because: 1. The new versions of that car model is coming soon? 2. They don't keep demo cars beyond certain mileage of test driving as they become "old cars". What would this mileage be? This question also got me thinking. Do they break in the new car before it goes on demo duties? We know usually the first 1000km of new cars is on mineral EO and not performing as normal. 3. They are replenishing with new cars for those particular models? This is related to when ADs sell the whole range of demo cars.
  3. I think this is a very cool tech demo by LR. Its technically not a transparent hood so don't expect to see Bond's invisible car yet... but its damn functional using camera on the underside/front to project the terrain on the hood of the LR. Blardy useful I say

  7. In sharp contrast with recent China's first baby-step into operating jets from its LiaoNing carrier, US Navy has began conducting taxi demo for Northrop Grumman X-47B onboard USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75) since 9 Dec. If the test is successful, the first carrier-based fighter-size UAV catapult launch is expected early next year. Onboard USS Truman First cat-launch 29 Nov

  10. Saw this interesting product call easycolor scratch removal pen. live demo video of someone using it to fix a scratch. Its actually a pen cum spray, but can only spray if you attach it to a special air brush can. http://js.tudouui.com/bin/taobaoisv/TaoBao...wf?iid=54476471 From what I heard, the pen the product covers a range of popular cars like honda, toyata, mitsubishi, nissan, bmw, benz, vw etc. Some color like black, white, gray matched nicely if you buy the correct pen for your car model and make but some color has a slight different, need to use another coating shine pen to blend the colors further. Here pictures of the pens but I don't think they are available in Singapore yet, the cost of the pen is cheap but due to no availability in Singapore, the shipping price can be quite steep when add up. Or maybe its already available but I do not know of?
