  1. Got a problem. A pair of birds had happily dug a hole through the outer board covering the air con hole (old flat). Now they had even build a nest and this cause rain water to seep into the flat thru the inner board. Does anyone know of any service to remove the damn nest and replace the boards?

  8. Hi, My apologies if I have posted in the wrong forum. Was away for the week and left my car parked in the MSCP. When I went and take my car today, I discovered the bumper and boot have quite a lot of white dots (paints spilled from the MSCP wall painting). Apparently, when they paint the carpark, my car was not fully covered. The paints have dried and I am unable to scratch them off. Does anyone have any advice on how to go about in removing the paint? Thank you.

  10. Hello Fellas, I got a very small car which i would like to get the swirl marks and birdsh!t marks removed from specific areas like the front bonnet of car and the roof. Interior of car requires no grooming as it was done not long ago. Can someone advise or recommend a good place to do? If really necessary, I dont mind doing the whole car. As the car is very small and i may not have that much time. 3hrs is all I can afford. Any indication of price and examples of work done would be helpful. Thank you very much.
  11. Hi, Is there groomer to recommend? To remove swirl mark only with no wax and sealant because I want to use glass coat.
  12. OK I can't remember who but some posted a product from Soft99 that removes RainX and cleans the glass. Costs around 10 bucks. Could this be their Glare Cut Liquid with ceramic powder in a liquid suspension. Whoever that is who posted this, said that it was found in the windscreen treatment section of Autobaccs. Interested in it to keep the windscreen nice and smooth instead of using harsh household detergent. BTW, see the link here on their step by step application of Glaco and the step before the last which is the application of Glaco (a RainX glass treatment) is the application of the yellow bottle which is the Glare Cut Liquid. See the pic on the water cascading down after the Glare Cut Liquid treatment. They even have a special claybar for the windscreen with its own quick detail liquid. Glaco for those who are interested have 2 versions. I don't mean the applicator size. The normal orange bottle one is the normal RainX style ones. The black bottle with the orange Glaco label is their Fusso version. It is their Teflon version that is supposed to last 6mths. http://www.soft99.co.jp/...o/glaco03/index.html Soft99 products do rock and are very affordable. If only the Japanese write their websites in English to reach out to the massive American autodetailing market.

Very good service and no rush, moreover they treat your car like theirs, meticulously working on those small dents. Now my door is as good as new. Highly recommended.

  16. Hi bros, will greatly appreciate your advice regarding removal of catalytic converter. My engine warning light is being triggered on every 200km or 2 days after i reset ECU to wipe out engine warning light by removing fuses for ECU in fuse box. Recently undergone top overhaul to remove blown gasket and loose piston ring. Ran 1000km thus far since top overhaul. Mechanic advised me engine warning light come on could be due to lubricants used in engine during top overhaul job, causing excess exhaust fumes which overwhelmn catalytic converter. Advised me that if engine warning light symtoms persists after 3 or 4 tankfuls of Techron petrol to wash out lubricants and still engine warning light on, then it must be catalytic converter spoil according to diagnostics test and need to spend 1k+ to fix. Song Yi, authorised stockist for my Hyundai Accent 1.5m quoted me $1450 include air freight from Korea for catalytic converter, so shop is not chopping me. It's parts expensive. My query is rgd removal of catalytic converter, will this cause further problems to smooth and safe running of engine? My understanding is this will "Tong" the exhaust, perhaps drop FC and risk TP fine (which I shall risk), but should solve my engine warning light problem. Mech advised that remove catalytic converter will affect CO2 emissions and may cause Engines Warning Light to keep coming on. Is this true? Am i being sold a con job?
  17. Heard it will improve your car breathing but of course with a price to pay,The CO emission and some say fc a bit high if u floor every time.Any advice? My friends Exora and Civic pick up improve ever since he remove all that

  20. Pity those staying there...most oldies. And the compensation....er.....  The way Denise Phua talks....no comment Don't cash out flats, Rochor residents urged By Joanne Chan | Posted: 16 November 2011 2106 hrs Photos1 of 1 HDB flats in Rochor Centre VideoDon't cash out flats, Rochor residents urgedhttp://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/sin...165837/1/.html#http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/sin...165837/1/.html#7 SINGAPORE: Residents of the Rochor Centre HDB flats have been cautioned against cashing out in the resale market. Member of Parliament for Moulmein-Kallang GRC Denise Phua has urged them to consider taking up the relocation package to Kallang, following Tuesday's announcement on the North-South Expressway (NSE). Four blocks at Rochor Centre will be making way for the NSE. Affected residents have been assured of a new flat in Kallang, and in many cases, may even enjoy some net proceeds. Following the initial shock of the news, residents have been trying to make sense of the compensation offered. Some have raised concerns the money offered is insufficient. RC chairman Eunice Phng said: "Three-room to three-room, they're getting about S$100,000, they think it's still not enough. "Because they are actually making way for the highway, and this is a very prime area, you can't get a similar area like this. "So they think the loss is there. But in terms of payment, if the authorities can look into more benefits, that will really make them happier." Home owners have the option of selling the flat in the open market, where they are likely to fetch a premium above market value. The relocation benefits can also be transferred to the new owner, who may have set their sights on the Kallang development. But the area's MP has urged residents against selling their flats. Ms Phua said: "If any of the residents were to sell too quickly without thinking through, and apply for another estate, they will not get the priority and they may find themselves stuck. "The other thing is, if they choose to cash out and use the money and find that later on they have no where else to go, they will not be -- most of them -- ... entitled to a rental flat because of the surplus they would have profited." Ms Phua also pointed out residents stand to gain from moving to Kallang. She noted that not only will they be getting a brand new flat with a fresh 99-year lease, elderly residents who currently endure the inconvenience of a lack of lifts in Rochor, will be able to benefit from having lifts on every floor in Kallang. HDB has frozen the sale of these flats for a month to ensure residents fully understand the relocation package before making a decision. It will also be holding a week-long exhibition, starting this Friday, to explain the compensation details and also provide more information on the replacement flats in Kallang. - CNA/wk We recommend
