I am thinking of buying a second-hand car from Turf city. It had about 3 years left. The paper value of the car is about 15K. How much should I offer above the paper value for this 7 years car? How much discount should I ask from the listed/advertise price of the car?

Madam Yeo, 49, was getting ready to knock off work early on Tuesday night to join her husband for their 26th wedding anniversary when the police came knocking on the door of her barbecue seafood restaurant on the second floor of Turf City. She said she was busy behind the drinks counter at the time when some officers in plainclothes shut the glass sliding doors of the main entrance.

Today is the first time to be there. nice experience. look for Mazda 3, lancer GLX, Vios, Honda City, Impreza, somemore Honda Civic 1.6. gather the advices from sales man and with my own perception on the above car models. cost of maintenance for Impreza is pretty high. not suitable for family used. Mazda 3 pick up very slow but very stable in high speed drive. Lancer GLX offer a good price, but interior and ex. so so only. Honda City, very less in market. y y y y??? Honda civic 1.6L, out of my budget, but overall is suit to my requirement. haiz.... and advice??

Dear all, please help, i wanted to buy a used car from this 2nd had car dealer Carbiz Pte Ltd in Turf Club Road. But abit scare, as have hear of many scaring incident with unhonest 2nd car dealer. They had offer me a very good trade in for my 8 month old ride i bought 66K,they offer me trade in $58,500. 8 month lost $ 7500, is it too good to be true? Have any one deal with this company before ? pls help -
There has been so much talk and many views ( some outright saying the FTs are out to 'kill them' in the working world ) in the recent weeks Actually this issue has come to a boiling point, where the contention of the locals striking out to fight for a living, are that the FTs are simply fighting tooth abnd nail for their rice bowl ( cost of actual rice is rising anyway! ) and the locals are blaming the gov for 'allowing' this to happen in face of the rapidly rising cost of living. Many locals from the experienced and skilled to the relatively skilled are now facing a wake-up call and is taking a hit right in their face on their own turf. Many after having acquired many degrees/certs find that these amount to nothing in competing for jobs against an FT! Many views having been expressed in this forums and others..shows that the FTs will continue to flood the work market whether you like it or not! What then is the best way to tackle the FTs coming into your employment market to compete head on with you? Let's the fact be that this should remain as a free market without much intervention by the authorities to protect the local workers.

Saw this ad selling a used Mar 07 Mazda 6 @ $68k and sms the sales person to ask for the best price. The salesperson reply asking me to go down to take a look at the car and further discuss on the price. And I reply him that I do not want to waste my trip if price is too high..and guess what is his reply..he reply me not to waste my trip then..I seriously doubt the service standard..with such high price posted, it is naturally interested party would like to know roughly the more reasonable price...on Sat ST, the new car is posted at $72k...for 4k more, I rather get a new car..this is really ridiculous..and very lousy service.

Groomworks (Clubshine) at Turf City had ceased operation with effect on 8th March. Due to their disagreement over lease renewal with Turf Club. So sad to receive this memo from Yong. There goes my favourite grooming guys. Maxwell branch will operate Mon - Sun 8am to 6pm wef 1st Apr 04. Jln Tua Kong is still operating Mon - Sun 9am to 6pm.

Hi All, I have jus view this car yesterday. It was a May 2000 model, color black. Number plate S** 4414. Anyone know the history of this car ? Was selling at 80K, exp ? Thou its COE about 48K. BTW, this is a pre facelift model. Any1 can enlighten me the diff between B5 and B5.5 ? And how come this car dont come with a moonroof ? Thanks..
