Watch how egos got the better of both these cars (Maserati crashed!)

Not happy with being overtaken or high beamed at? Why not try jamming your brakes so that the car that offended you can crash into you? That's what this Maserati Quattroporte driver did when the camera car behind beamed him. According SG Road Vigilante's post, the accident happened on the wee hours of 5th of Aug 2020 along Keppel Road. In the video, we can see the camera car trying to overtake both the Mercedes Vito and the Maserati but was blocked a couple of times. Both vehicles were apparently friends or colleagues from the same company and once the Maserati managed to overtake the camera car, the Maserati jammed his brakes suddenly, causing the camera car, which we reckon from that turbo flutter and gearshift, an Audi A4, to crash into it. The Maserati's occupants then came out, demanding the camera car driver to get out and "settle things". After some aggressive exchange of words, the Maserati just drove off as if nothing happened. Weird In our opinion, this is just one side of the story as we have no idea what the camera car driver did to anger the Maserati driver. Accidents like this usually takes two hands to clap. The Straits Times reported on Monday how 120 shipyard workers hired by Akash Engineering and Technology almost went on strike last month. They said their employer had not paid them salaries of up to 31/2 months. The employees - 100 Bangladeshis and 20 Indians - were talked out of their plans by the Migrant Workers' Centre. The MOM has since been investigating the sub-contractor for possible breaches of the Employment Act. Background story MINISTRY SAYS: Keppel Shipyard is also being investigated by MOM for possible infringement of its responsibilities as a sponsoring shipyard under the marine sector scheme. KEPPEL SAYS: Akash Engineering did not inform us of the full extent of the financial difficulties which they were facing. Kudos to MOM!!!! Don't know what happened but can see a car (or maybe more cars) burning on AYE, just after the Keppel Road exit. It causes a massive traffic jam behind and the fire engine (which came from the other direction) will have a hard time to reach the site even after it can u-turn back. CNY coming bros. Drive safe.

A car fell into a sinkhole caused by a burst water pipe. PUB was alerted to this at 7am and is now repairing the burst water pipe at the junction of Keppel Road and Cantonment Link, in the direction towards HarbourFront. Viewer Jason Chong shared this video he filmed from the backseat of a taxi at about 7.40am. Several viewers also told us how they were stuck in a massive traffic jam caused by this incident. Madam Tan Ah Lai, 59, claims she slipped as she was walking down a staircase, which was unlit and had sand on it. The self-employed businesswoman sustained multiple bruises to her face and left leg. She also damaged her teeth and suffered depression. According to a report in the Straits Times, developer Keppel Land, however, denies negligence, saying she was at least partly to blame because she could have chosen to use a sloping walkway with handrails. This is believed to be the first case of its kind to reach the courts, and the outcome could have implications on the way developers are expected to look after people who visit their show flats. The accident happened when Madam Tan and her family members visited the show flat at the Lakefront Residences condominium project next to Lakeside MRT station on Nov 10 last year reported the Straits Times. She claimed the only access and exit from the show flat was via a common staircase. She said that this was not lit and there was sand on the steps. She filed court documents claiming she stepped on the sand as she came down the stairs, causing her to fall on her face. Her injuries made her look unsightly and curbed her daily activities, such as exercising, and affected her self-confidence. She attached medical reports and bills to support her claims. Her lawyer, Mr Madan Assomull, alleged in court papers that the developers had failed to protect her from injury, pointing out the staircase should have had handrails or guides. Keppel countered that Madam Tan had the choice of using an alternative sloping walkway with handrails if she had deemed it too dangerous to use the stairs. Its lawyer K. Anparasan said the area was properly lit. He claimed Madam Tan failed to exercise proper care when she used the steps. There was also no need to place any warning boards as the staircase did not constitute an 'unusual danger'.

Hi, Anyone know whether there is a speed cam at West Coast Highway (from PSA Vista - opposite Haw Par Villa onwards) to Keppel Road ? I saw the speed limit is 70 but most of the car travelling at least 90 especially when we need to overtake those trailer, lorry, van that are already travelling at 80. Thanks !

Just came back from ECP/AYE. Serious accident on keppel flyover towards east. All the vehicles seem to be not moving at all. Saw quite a few cars + motorbike helmets. Please drive safely.
