  1. This has got to be one of the most puzzling incidents I have ever witnessed. Watch it for yourself below: What Happened? This incident happened along Hougang Ave 4. From the footage, a van is seen turning out from an HDB carpark when suddenly its door swings open and a man in red drops face-first onto the road. After the fall, the man remains unconscious throughout the rest of the video. It is not known what has caused the man to fall from the moving van. However, it was certain that he was not wearing his seatbelt securely. NGL, this incident reminds me of the introduction to Mr Bean. Regardless, I hope the man is fine and here's to wishing him a speedy recovery!🙏 Netizens' Comments You just had to... What if...this was what actually happened?😯 Very observant! That makes a lot of sense. ======== Receive a $10 PayNow for every submission we publish on Facebook! Simply WhatsApp us ➡️https://bit.ly/3c6JERA
  2. Just a curious thought which poped up in my head: Should we make cars so that cars can only start moving after we put the seatbelt on? If im not wrong, some people have a habit of wearing their seatbelt only after driving off or even not wearing seatbelt if they travel super short distances. Right now i know most cars only blinks the seatbelt sign or make a sound or both if the driver not wearing a seatbelt. I am not sure if its possible to implement such a system or if there are cars out there which already has this. What do you guys think?
  3. https://beltedsurvivors.nz/ 10 Car Crash survivors tell their stories about how their lives were saved by wearing their seat belts. They are pictured with simulated injuries from their accidents.

  8. dear bros and tai-gors out there I have my Cruze 1.6 LS (A) for a year now. And I am still clueless how to get rid of this buzzing noise coming from the seatbelt compartment (near driver’s right ear, where we grab the seatbelt). It is not there all the time, it is getting worse now. Being there most of the time. It can get worse triggered by songs with heavy bass (no kidding). It is not sound in my head (tested by other drivers). It sounds like friction to the seatbelt inside the compartment. Rubbing the seatbelt with by rough fingers can generate a similar buzzing noise. No way to stop it when it happened. It comes and go. It sometimes happen even when car not moving but only engine started. It is notice-able even with radio on because it is close to my right ear. The one on the passenger side has the same issue, not as noticeable because it is far from my ears. From the previous visits to Chevrolet center, test drive with the technician has failed to ‘simulate’ the buzzing noise. The technicians claimed they have opened up the seatbelt compartment but found nothing abnormal or faulty. Please let me know if anyone faced this similar issue and recommend me with the possible root cause and solution. Thank you very very much in advance Rocki
  9. A friend's rear seat belt in his City is too short to secure the baby seat for his baby. Kah Motor doesn't sell a longer belt. Any bro has solutions for this? Go scrap-yard / assessory shops to get a longer one that fits the anchor points on the car? Or it's not so straight forward for safety reasons? Thank you.
  10. Hi all, my seatbelt is fraying and causing difficulties in pulling out. Anyone knows where can i change it? (recon/new, sg/jb) thanks alot! :)
  11. Porsche and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration are issuing a recall for the 2010 Panamera for a potential seat belt defect that could leave the driver unprotected in the event of a crash. NHTSA says the defect can occur when either front seat is put in an "extreme position," which could lead to the seat belt mount being detached from the anchoring mechanism while the belt is fastened or opened. The post-jump NHTSA release doesn't explain what an "extreme position" is, though we're guessing that the safety administration is referring to a seat that is either very close to or very far away from the dash (see UPDATE below). But while we don't know which seat positions could cause the problem, we do know that the result could be serious. NHTSA says that, in the event of a crash, the seat belt may not adequately protect the front seat occupant. Th agency's release states that there are up to 3,176 units affected by the safety action. Panamera owners (congratulations!) can take their vehicle to the nearest Porsche dealer, where an additional locking element will be installed onto the belt anchoring system to correct the issue. Hit the jump to read over the official press release. *UPDATE: Porsche spokesman Gary Fong tells Autoblog: "The company has discovered that in extreme forward front seat positions the front safety belts do not meet our strict safety standards. To assure the front belts works properly in all possible positions, Porsche will add an additional element to the anchoring system. The repair takes about 15 minutes and will be done free of charge. No injuries or fatalities have been associated with this recall."
