This one for real cos I'm the one of them kana before in late 80's.

Driving along Upper Thomson Road towards Yio Chu Kang as coming down from Mandai Road after midnight work. I was the only vehicle on the road and as I past Springleaf Garden, from nowhere, a NTUC taxi appear from my rear view mirror and was travelling at a very fast speed.

As it overtake me on my right, I turned my head and look at the taxi driver but could not see any driver. My speed already 100km/h and it overtook me. Tried to chase the taxi and never seem to able to catch up with it. Always in front of me.

I stop chasing after when I spotted the traffic light at Tagore Lane was 'red' and the taxi was just few meters ahead. As sudden as it appear, the taxi vanished in thin air right in front of me just when reaching the traffic light. Thereafter, driving at 60km/h all the way home and constantly looking backward to see if its appear again. [sweatdrop]

Few days later, spoke to my friend who had stayed at Old Upp Thomson Road kampong and was informed that there was once a taxi driver involved in fatal accident along the stretch of road.

After 20 over years, I can still relate the story like as if it just happen.

Very, very scary if you happen to go too fast past them. [sweatdrop]
