I think some are out early or did not returned to their 'home' last year .....

Maybe bcos most human beings would be off to zzz land n if u r cutting nails @ midnight, only two possible scenarios:-

 

1) you are not human but a pontianak

2) you are human but captured by pontianak to do her manicure
