Yeah... Plan for M'sia Jun hols...Aussie dollar seemed to have dropped quite a bit

 

For those Msian working in S'pore... Huat ah!!

Msian working in S'pore all a long huat.... some time very huat... some other time very very huat.... <_<:D

Need to "kai kwang" your ATM card by calling Maybank first.

 

Initially, I thought just need to activate overseas use, but discovered that I cannot withdraw cash 'cos need to "kai kwang" with Maybank first.

 

That is, two activations required - one is one-time off thingy, the other is you set as permanent or per trip basis.

 

If you have an account with Maybank here, there is no need to go the $ changer. Once, I withdrew RM1K from the ATM in KL, and I did a calculation and found that the rate was almost similar to the one offered by the $Changer.

Looks like 2.7 barrier is gonna be firmly broken soon.

Traditionally, exchange rate is most unfavourable when it's close to CNY period. So maybe after CNY it's gonna hoot beyond 2.8?

i have ever withdrawn money using my posb card (cirrus and maestro logo)...no need to activate anything. But i never tried using my Maybank card......usually i will just charge it.

yeah ... there are hundreds of thousands PR (msian) in spore change myr back to msia for cny

sgd vs myr will shoot after cny ... depends on oil price and msia 2015 budget ... [:)]

if oil continue to fall or stablise below usd$50 ...

it is very hard for ringgit to recover

 

RM fell beyond 2.7 already. Must buy in some more before it goes up.
