Kangadrool Supersonic January 15, 2015 Share January 15, 2015 Need to "kai kwang" your ATM card by calling Maybank first. Initially, I thought just need to activate overseas use, but discovered that I cannot withdraw cash 'cos need to "kai kwang" with Maybank first. That is, two activations required - one is one-time off thingy, the other is you set as permanent or per trip basis. If you have an account with Maybank here, there is no need to go the $ changer. Once, I withdrew RM1K from the ATM in KL, and I did a calculation and found that the rate was almost similar to the one offered by the $Changer.
Tjkbeluga 5th Gear January 16, 2015 Share January 16, 2015 Looks like 2.7 barrier is gonna be firmly broken soon. Traditionally, exchange rate is most unfavourable when it's close to CNY period. So maybe after CNY it's gonna hoot beyond 2.8?
