nowadays, not only speed cameras are increasingly seen even in 2, 3, 4 lanes roads .... not to mentioned expressways.

worse, there are getting even more and more traffic cameras, even in junctions that are least expected......

cameras are seen less than 100m apart between traffic lights junctions . . .

of coz, it takes tax payers money to erect a thousands dollars camera that easily get back 100s times back from fines within a year

such 100% ROI business where to find!

even speed fine has reached easily $500 to $800 per summon which will never happen few years back . . .

guess its getting pointless to drive high CC cars nowadays, but rather small CCs with turbo for that effortless pick-up in our 'fined' roads.

ROI definitely higher than TP head count and camera don't complain.

But it is getting excessive but some will say if you don't break the laws, you have nothing to worry.

Wait they implement satellite ERP, can track distance traveled and time taken, that will be the ultimate.

Nowadays don't seem to see a lot of speed cam on the highway but beware.

Unmarked Renault Fluence and Megane (Black in colour) as Highway Patrol armed with speed gun at all highway in SG. They will follow the front car and take down the speed before pop back into the centre lane waiting for another vehicle to overtake it. Then come out again and snap your speed with their speed gun.

Spotted them twice at PIE toward Jurong and another time, CTE toward Yishun. All 3 different number plates which indicates that there are plenty of such vehicle from TP. Can easily identified, they have a very long antenna on their boot. (20 inches long). Both passenger and driver in full police uniform.

Saw also one spotted stopping a vehicle along PIE with their portable blue blinkers.

satellite ERP was ready 8 yrs ago but failed to get it operated coz the cost is to high then for the authority to absorb

they tried 'sharing' this cost to car insurances, and dealers..... of coz they dun give a damn

now, after getting cheaper deals from commcercial gains and recent technologies . . .  they are ready within the next 3 years

probably this explains why speed cameras are beefed up in small roads (difficult detections from satellites) while leaving the express ways free to be captured.......

I was driving along yishun with a foreign friend... he counted 5 traffic cameras within a short span of 1km !!!

wow! . . .

wahhhh! using private car to ambush drivers in the name of the TP . . .  is this correct?

all the TP might as well dress in Ts & bermudas, then flip their mobiles to video speedsters any where as they like lohhhh.

May wish to install and use the Waze app.

I have seen fellow motorists who used Waze to report hidden police.

Fast forward the below video to 4:50m for intro to this feature in Waze:
