9 weeks seems quite long already leh. Some drivers get less than 1 month for killing people. I guess the more expensive your mode of transport, the lower the penalty. Lexus maybe don't even need jail.

This has been bothering me for some time and I seriously wonder... pedestrians often had to give way to cyclists CYCLING on pedestrian walkways/footpaths.  Most of the time, also along traffic light crossings, pedestrian ("zebra") crossings, etc.  Sometimes, those electric scooters/devices also had to give way to cyclists on these paths. 

 

Now that the government is coming down hard on electric scooter/device users, how come nothing is mentioned for cyclists?  I have read that electric scooter/device users cannot go on the roads and had to take the pedestrian ways, but most of the time, cyclists also use pedestrian ways. 

 

So which is which?

Only bicycle is allowed on road. The rest has to use pavement.

 

Bicycle is THE PMD allowed on both pavement & road.

 

Since pavement is shared path, users of PMD has been told to be courteous to other users.

 

Being an ungraceful nation, this is what happens lo.
