Funny you wud mention this... As it reminds me of video I received some time back... Two workers peeling the remains of what used to to be a person from the road... Just like a cut out !

Gross. For now i will avoid blood orange peel and cut outs. Thanks bro.

At the beginning I was also thinking what the video was about... Cleaners cleaning the road?.... Then a mangled bicycle.... Then the finale!!

Some cyclists like that one.... Just a few days ago one youngster chiong from far far away when my car was already moving half pass the zebra crossing after letting another cyclist cross. Luckily I jammed brake in time, with him also stopping right in front, otherwise my bumper would have human imprint.

This woman cyclist deserves zero sympathy. Hope she will never cycle again to avoid being crushed by king kong lorry.

The Swift is at fault also la. Didn’t keep a lookout and stop at the stop line.

cyclist also assume her right of way and that Drivers will confirm see her.

I disagree. The Swift could've been driving more defensively but the cyclist is 100 percent at fault as the law requires them now to *stop*, *check* and only then go. No need to dismount but stopping is necessary.

i very scared when i see bicycles approaching crossings like this ... the bikes are actually pretty fast and when approaching, you won't know if the fella is going to stop of make a run for it also.

and yes, when the cyclist assume, they end up being seen and heard by the vehicle also. 😆

Cyclist 100% fault

Driver view probably blocked by A pillar. He has checked clear prior when cyclist was still not in his sight, moving the car forward just to realise cyclist appear out of nowhere. I would feel the driver kena sabo by cyclist in this case.

What I want is for the law to penalise the cyclists by making them fully liable for both their damage and injury and any damage to other vehicles by means of a hefty fine awarded to the other party. Failure to pay will result in a non trivial custodial sentence.

Watch the situation improve like magic.

Accidents like this can happen because both parties made their own  preferred assumption.

Both assumed each other will stop but neither did.

Really make an ASS out of U and ME.
