Today just encountered another King of the road.

IMO its fine if he is turning right. Or else how to turn?

I take this road quite often, so far the ones I saw will cycle on the left until the lights and use the lights to cross-over. First time I see someone on the right lane.

 

Lucky for him traffic was unusually light, normally that road is really packed.

Both ways are fine. But if use pedestrian crossing they will have to dismount and push across.

 

For me, if I am going fast, I will also change to right lane and turn following the traffic regulations. If I feel like cycling slowly then I'll go to the pedestrian crossing and push across before getting back on the road. I guess this guy must be one of those that change to electric bike after his motorcycle COE expired.

Lol I am sure our foreign friends can renew coe if need be, well I am glad he cycled like that during light traffic. Same area during rush hour is quite nasty, becomes a mini F1 circuit.

There's 2 occasions I saw a electric bicycle with LED lights. 1 with 3 people on the bicycle and the other with 4 people (2 kids)!

 

This is not some third world country leh.

How to take photo when driving?

 

Me think Singapore has already deteriorated to 3rd World country environment, governed by 1st world government.....

I captured this video on my way back home today, about 11pm

A huge group of cyclist around 20-30 strong were cycling in the KPE!

Last time we see one or 2.

Now its like 30.

 

They all stopped on the road side where there was basically only one lane merging into 2 lanes towards PIE Tuas.

They would then have to merge into the PIE Tuas where cars are going at at least 90-100km...

imagine the cars then having to jam brake to say 30-40km? Would that cause an accident?

Or a slow reacting driver, would he/she plough into the convoy of cyclists?

Their convoy will also basically jam up traffic on this small 2 lane slip road into the expressway.

Imagine the danger they are posing to themselves and other road users!

 

 

Did the law change? Has this suddenly become legal?

This is the reason why we need number plates on cyclist!

So what if we have video evidence?

These guys are still going off without any penalty.

Meaning they will do it again and again and again and again.

Until a tragedy happens.

Many years ago, i saw SLK crashed right after Crawford Underpass. Debris spread across lane 2 to 4. I call 999 immediately. I am cycling to work in the morning.

TP all resting/sleeping liao nowadays..... Really no more government, got many rules not enforced because difficult to catch these type of rats/flies (unlike President Xi, powerful tigers and lowly flies all tangkup), easier and more comfortable/profitable to set up speed trap on overhead bridges and wait for money to roll in.

We do sometimes miss the old days when LKY was in charge and rules enforced....

He was lucky didn't end up as a prata! I am sure he would stop at red light in future.
