Clearly the vehicle fail to give way to cyclist.

Yup. Actually the cyclist no need to say much. Just send in to TP. I have done that many times already. Now more cars give way to me when I cycle on my regular route.

Warning, got hokkien expletive. Crazy driver tries to ramp the cyclist at 0:35

This cyclist should NOT be cycling there even it is legally right for him to do so.

I know i will offend many avid cyclist on roads here. But when i cycle, i bring my bike to parks.

I have seen many many times cyclist cut through lanes abruptly, cut diagonally through a T-junction, cycle on Keppel Highway, Pasir Panjang Viaduct weaving between lanes.

Seriously, if they die, 90% is their own fault for choosing such location to cycle.

The cyclist also one kind one. The expletives like part of his natural vocab already. Every sentence will have colourful words. Got camera like big fark. One day if he got hit, the camera is not going to protect him much.

These kind of busy roads not for them to cycle.

That's why i have repeated many times that route selection is very important for safety of cyclist.

For those who think that cyclist should be in the park, do you commute to work in bicycle?

For those who commute would knows that PCN is for leisure cycle as the connection is back.

Try cycle from Bishan Park to Helix Bridge via PCN.

If not, try to cycle from East Coast Park to Helix Bridge.

IMO that road is ok to cycle. But the cyclist could have just overtaken the car anyway. Don't look like the car has slowed him down much. Just keep quiet, overtake the car and send the video to TP.

I usually cycle on the roads because its faster than driving. If go PCN cycle then I might as well drive...

i agree with you totally that route selection is vital for safety for ownself and others.

not of the view that cycling is only for parks, that's just for me,because when i do cycle it is for leisure and simple exercise.

because the laws are not really known to many, cyclists can one moment be pedastrians, other moment be vehicles,it serves as a big confusion.

IMO,as long as we can maintain higher level of safety. if wanna cycle, stay away from high traffic areas and high speed carriageways if possible. bicycle can find elsewhere to ride, cars can only be on the roads

likelihood for TP to side with cyclist is higher becos cyclist have more to lose, same as for motorcyclists (who should not ride along the segregating lines between lanes)

but cycling on pedastrian pavements as an illegal act,i have yet to see hefty summons or punishments metted out.

Cyclist are legitimate road users as well.

If a cyclist respect the rules on the road, i.e. use hand signals when lane changing or turning, other motor vehicles have to respect that and give way to them as well. This is about respecting one another for a more conducive environment on the road.

Of course majority of the cyclists doesn't give a damn It doesn't mean that the whole village of cyclist are bad.

The middle finger by the cyclist is the starting point for the whole incident. But attempting to run down the cyclist is culpable to attempt murder in my opinion.

Did you watch the same video I saw?

So what happened in the first 13 seconds doesn't count?

(but yeah...the cyclist should not have reacted - just send in beedio)

0:13 mark.

I'm no fan of cyclists when I'm driving on the roads.

Cyclist has right to get upset with the car driver for endangering him. If I were a driver (in place of the cyclist), encountering this kind of situation, would have sounded horn as warning.

What's surprising - the wrong doer (car driver) was already prepared to counter swear so readily!

And the way he swerved to intimidate cyclist was wrong & dangerous.

Cyclist should submit video to TP to get driver charged.

It appeared that these 2 road users behaved like regular 'fighting cocks' , & not easily cowered.......just wondering if the situation could be worse if both were driving!

Cyclist also 1 kind lah... Is there a need to fark here fark there? We drive everyday and encounter lots of lousy drivers. If we were to challenge every one of them, will never reach our destination.

Yes the Altis should have given greater care, but please lah cylist still cyclist ..... Do you want to argue your rights when your right leg is amputated?

We all have a duty to take car of our own lives. The altis driver maynr fined or even jailed, but what good will it make to the cyclist's disability or death?

Drive/ride safe folks .... Happy CNY
