Remind me of an incident, cyclist rode in the middle of the lane, I just tapped my horn to warn him, he turned with 1 middle finger. I guess he was "thankful and appreciative" to me. I am a lazy person else his video will be in youtube. (I am currently looking for new car cam which can view and download video into my mobile instead having to bring the sd card back home to view. Recommendation?  )

Since we are opening n welcoming top talents, is it possible to replace those just sitting in air con room?

Thanks for the reminder. Hate it when the stretch closed for such events. From experience is only closed on one side, from Naval base towards Aerospace area. If encounter that, I will cycle on the pavement for the stretch. No choice as already out on the road.

I dont hate cyclist except for those self entitled cockroaches who thinks that they are the king of the road, everyone must give way to them, they blamed the whole world but themselves when they got injured, dont obey traffic rules when they die die have to ride on the road and run away with their d*cks in between their legs after damaging other people's property. Not just mamils but si ginahs as well. 

I'm alot more tolerant towards FW on bikes though as i find them generally are more conscious of their surroundings.

I am supportive of this type of events as long as it is well planned and organised, not  creating too much inconvenience to vehicles. It gives cyclists an opportunity to ride safely on the road freely without endangering themselves  and other road users.

Other cyclists not taking part in the race are actually inconvenienced haha. But I am not complaining lah, so long as got alternate roads to do the distance can already.

Except when the FWs wear black at night and cycle along the road without any lights. Generally they are ignorant that they are invisible on a dark road. Even on PCN at night, they are usually the ones with no lights on their bicycles.

Like to share about my unfortunte experience. Last Thursday (25 Aug), I left home about 9.30am for a short ride in Seletar Aerospace Hub. I rode my 1992 Greg Lemond Team Z vintage steel roadie.

After riding only about 10 km, should be about 10am, I rode head-on rear ended into a stationery car just outside ST Aerospace. Unfortunately I suffered from concussion and cannot remember what happened.

However, 2 passing helpful cyclists who stopped and help to give details to my wife. They also help to take some photos of the scene as well. (Only visual reference I have)

I was hospitalised and discharged yesterday after some treatment n surgery.

I am hoping this two gentlemen are in this community. If u are the one, appreciate you can PM me. Would like to express my gratitude to you for lending a helping hand.

I will be out of ride action for couple of months. Hope I can share more but I was unable to recall. At the meantime, wish all ride safe always."

So...car/buses/lorries drive too close to them cannot...

Now car stop at road side (legally or illegally) also cannot....

Is that sharing the road?

I agree. Best is not to have such thing but with the conggested road we have, this is the best alternative to give cyclists a chance to get some proper cycling opportunity, not that  i will participate though.

Not just FW, i see local riding without  a blinker at night also, and some blinkers are so dim , i am wondering if they  think the blinkers are that bright?

Someone I know stopped cycling for some time due to that.

Nowadays, I have been seeing him on Strava during weekends regularly.
