The lorry driver said the bus in front of him had braked suddenly, causing the lorry to swerve right to avoid the collision. He said the lorry still crashed into the bus's right rear and hit the side of the other bus.

The 23, which included one of the bus drivers as well as passengers, were taken to National University Hospital and Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.

Thanks for pointing out my mistake. Yes i meant to say the lorry driver was day dreaming, what about the passenger siting beside him? early in the morning, he could really be dozing off, without expecting this to happen.

Most probably sleeping.

 

The aftermath video show he was also in a blue jumpsuit so probably also a supervisor or worker.
