  1. Anyone read this? Come on, getting into a stranger's car just for a free ride?? She got more than a free ride, kenna robbed and raped. And a Proton Savvy?? At least a Toyota ma. SINGAPORE - A 34-year-old woman who had trouble getting a taxi at 5am got into the car of a stranger who offered to drive her further up the road. But she claimed the "good Samaritan" raped and robbed her before kicking her out of his car after he had his way with her. On Monday, 24-year-old storeman Haliffie Mamat stood trial in the High Court for raping the woman in his Proton Savvy along Kallang Bahru on May 4, 2013, and robbing her of her brand-name handbag and the items inside. He denies raping her and disputes the contents of her bag. The prosecution has lined up 40 witnesses to prove its case against Haliffie in a trial scheduled for eight days. Deputy Public Prosecutor Sellakumaran told the court that the victim, who cannot be named under a gag order, waited for about an hour along River Valley Road when Haliffie stopped his car and offered to drive her somewhere else where it was supposedly easier to get a taxi. After she got into the front passenger seat, Haliffie offered to send her home. She dozed off in the car and when she woke up, the car had stopped. The DPP said the evidence will show that Haliffie stopped the woman from alighting, threw her handbag to the backseat and raped her after a struggle. After the rape, Haliffie drove off for a short distance, stopped the car, opened the door on her side and kicked her out to the road. He then drove off with her bag. The stranded woman got into a taxi and told the cabby that she had been raped. The cabby and a friend he subsequently picked up nearby will testify about that the woman had asked to go to the police station, said the DPP. Police officers on duty at the Geylang Neighbourhood Police Centre will also testify that the woman could not walk properly and was visibly injured when she told them she had been raped. Haliffie was nabbed when he sold a mobile phone that was in her bag. The prosecution will also lead medical evidence on her injuries and that she suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of her ordeal.
  2. M'sian undergrad claims cops raped her after catching her having sex in car Quote: Two cops were arrested on Sunday for allegedly raping and blackmailing a 19-year-old university student, Malaysian police said. The teen lodged a report on Saturday, claiming the duo took advantage of her after catching her and her boyfriend having sex in a car on Jan 26. Assistant Commissioner Azmi Abu Kassif said the victim claimed she was made to get into the police vehicle with one officer. The other officer got into her boyfriend's car. "The victim claimed that while in the police car, the officer had asked her to give him RM2,000 (S$745) to let her go. "The victim agreed and the officer dropped her and her boyfriend by the roadside. She said the officers then took down her contact details," he said. Raped her in toilet The student said she received a call later that day from the one of the officers who demanded that she pay up. ACP Azmi said the girl alleged that the officer picked her up from her hostel, drove her to a nearby mall and forced her to perform oral sex on him in his car. "She said he later took her to a toilet in the mall and raped her. He said if she didn’t do as he asked, he would arrest her." According to the victim’s report, the officer didn’t stop there. The girl claimed the man has been calling her up the past week to demand sex again. "Upon receiving the report, we arrested the two officers on Sunday." Source: The Star

  4. An increasing number of rapes, murders, and disappearances of female university students have been making headlines recently in China, stoking fears among students nationwide. Many people have asked how they can ensure their safety, so the Wuhan police have come up with a handy list. The local Public Security Bureau for Wuhan University posted an extraordinary list of ways to avoid getting raped, which was then republished by Sina Guangdong. So, want to avoid having your dignity taken away? Here are nine suggestions from a Chinese police authority: Don’t take illegal cabs. (If you do,) get into the habit of memorizing the license plate. Sit in the back seat, and pretend to make a call. Woman on cellphone in the back: Husband, come out and pick me up! The license plate of the car is xxx Carry a small spray bottle that contains Fengyoujing (a medicated balm lotion), and spray it into the eyes of an attacker. Throw your wallet somewhere far away instead of passing it over to the attacker. Person throwing: Fly away! If you want to take a picture of the bad man, you can pretend to be talking on the phone and surreptitiously record him by pointing the back of the phone towards him. Be very careful using this one! If you are discovered doing this, you will die a grisly death. Sometimes, teeth can be more effective than your own hands Cannibal: If you’re not careful, you’ll have eaten the attacker. Cut your fingernails into this shape. A blunt cut is fine; don’t make them too long or else they may break unexpectedly. Upon being raped*, you should defecate or urinate if you can, or stick your fingers down your throat to vomit. An ordinary person will wilt at this sight. Carry a pen on your person (with the exception of a lead pencil). This is more convenient than a knife because you are able to pass through a security checkpoint. Be ugly; this is the safest way of all! * The word “rape” is censored in Chinese

  6. Shame on him, I bet he is one of the rapist! MALAYSIA HOME MINISTER: NON-MALAYS ARE MORE OKAY WITH BEING http://therealsingapore.com/content/malaysia-home-minister-non-malays-are-more-okay-being-raped KUALA LUMPUR: Deputy Home Minister Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar played armchair psychologist in Parliament today in an attempt to explain why statistics on statutory rape show that most of the victims are Malays. According to him, statutory rape offends Malay sensibilities more than it does the sensibilities of other Malaysians, making it more likely for the former to report the crime. He told the Dewan Rakyat that police recorded 1,550 reports on statutory rape in 2012, adding that Malays were victims in 1,243 of the cases. Chinese victims accounted for 73 and Indians 45. The rest were of other racial backgrounds. He added that the proportions were similar in 2013, with 1,147 Malays, 62 Chinese and 32 Indians among the 1,424 victims. “This means most Malays are sensitive to this kind of offence on teenage girls,” he said. “That’s why they lodge police reports. “Non-Malays are probably less sensitive towards this. Probably they can accept it; so there are not much reports from them.” He said the authorities had instituted several measures to prevent statutory rape, including the formation of a special police unit and the provision of counseling. He blamed Internet pornography, peer influence and uncontrolled libido for the high incidence of statutory rape. Siti Zailah Mohd Yusoff (PAS-Rantau Panjang) asked whether weak enforcement could be one of the contributing factors, noting that there were only 162 convictions from some 3,000 police reports lodged in 2009. Wan Junaidi said parents should play a bigger role than enforcement agencies in ensuring the safety of children. “The enforcement agencies have done a lot,” he said, “but the society itself does not help. We often talk about good social values but we seldom put them into practice. “What we do most on a daily basis is to talk politics and point fingers at each other. “Society has to work hand in hand with the government if we want to curb statutory rapes.”

  9. Man raped to death by 5 wives 5 wives angry that he like 6th wife best, so charged in and asked him to have sex with all of them 1 by 1...... Quote: Extraordinary story of the husband who was 'raped to death' by five wives because he was paying too much attention to the sixth A wealthy businessman - and husband of six - has died after allegedly being forced into a marathon sex session with his 'jealous' wives. Nigerian Uroko Onoja was having sex with the youngest of his spouses when the remaining five are reported to have set upon him with knives and sticks - and demanded that he have sex with each of them too. Mr Onoja went on to have intercourse with four of his wives in succession, but 'stopped breathing' as the fifth was making her way to the bed in Ogbadibo, according to Nigeria's Daily Post. Two women have been arrested following the incident in the state of Benue last week, said the report, which used the term 'raped to death' to describe the businessman's fate. "Mr Onoja is understood to have returned from a bar in the small community of Ugbugbu, Ogbadibo, at around 3am on Tuesday, and headed for the bedroom of his youngest wife. His five other wives - who were said to have held a meeting to discuss their intentions before their husband arrived home - are then alleged to have burst into the bedroom armed with knives and sticks to insist that they too be granted their conjugal rights. The businessman, who has been described as a philanthropist who 'contributed positively' to the growth of his local community, is thought to have resisted the demands of his wives' before being overpowered. Mr Onoja reportedly stopped breathing and could not be resuscitated after having sex with four of his wives in a row. His youngest spouse is quoted as saying her five fellow wives ran into the forest when they realised their husband was dead." The head of his village, Okpe Odoh, told the Daily Post the matter had been reported to police. 10. 90% of them don't make police report??? ---- 24 women raped last year: Aware AsiaOne Tue, Jun 07, 2011 Tweet SINGAPORE - TWENTY-FOUR women said that they were raped last year, and about 20 of these women said they allowed their attackers to escape scot-free. This is according to women's advocacy group, Aware. The group also said that they get an average of 20 such cases on their hotline a year. Chinese evening daily Lianhe Wanbao reported that some of the women had sought help from Aware after they were sexually assaulted within three days of the attack, and the reasons they did not report about the attacks immediately included feeling afraid, feeling ashamed or even blaming themselves. One of the victims only revealed her predicament 10 years after she was assaulted. Aware's executive director Corinna Lim said that of the 24 women who called its hotline last year, a majority were encouraged to do so by their boyfriends or husbands. The women often cited friends or relatives, and colleagues or men they went out on dates with as their attackers. A few were assaulted by their husbands. Some of them were attacked after they had been drinking. Some of the women only called Aware's hotline three days after their attack. About 90 per cent of the women did not make a police report. The victims often said they were confused, lost sleep over the matter, and could not remember details of their attack. Some even became depressed. Ms Lim told Lianhe Wanbao: "If the women who were assaulted do not seek help, it will be very difficult for them to move on. We even had one caller who was attacked 10 years ago." To help these women who feel at a loss after being sexually assaulted, Aware has set up the Sexual Assault Befrienders Service, or SABS, to offer assistance to victims. If you wish to contact Aware at the SABS hotline, you can do so at from Mondays to Fridays at the following telephone numbers: 6779 7137, from 10am to 3pm, or 1800-7745935, from 3pm to 9.30pm.

According to The Sun daily, the teenage girl, who is studying at the prestigious Bellerbys College in Greenwich, South London, was at a party on Jan 23 with other English-language students when she was drugged and assaulted by the seven men. As they raped the 18-year-old in succession, they filmed the attack on iPhones. The footage was retrieved by police when they arrested the men later. 'The incident was horrific,' the newspaper quoted a source as saying. 'Mobile phone footage has been recovered that clearly shows the girl to be under the influence of drugs.' The victim reportedly raised the alarm after staggering into a friend's room. 'She is distraught. She is very young and it is believed she was given a drug before being defiled,' said the source. 12. http://www.sun2surf.com/article.cfm?id=18827 KAJANG (Aug 2, 2007): A 20-year-old Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) undergraduate, believed to have been raped, was found strangled in her rented house in Bandar Mahkota Cheras near here early today. The semi-nude body of Tang Lai Meng, who is from Ipoh and a second year diploma in business administration student, was found with her hands bound to her back. An elderly neighbour in his 60s who declined to be named was taking his daily walk on the backlane of the the Jalan Putera 4/1 double-storey house in Section 1 at 11am when he spotted the backdoor grille pried open. Suspecting something amiss, he called the police who arrived within minutes and found the front gate and door ajar. When calls to the occupants went unanswered, they stepped in and found Tang on a bed in the master bedroom. Police said Tang, clad only in a T-shirt, was strangled with a pillow case found coiled round her neck. They also found an exmination result slip which showed Tang was a straight-As student. Investigators suspect the assailant, who is believed to be someone known to the victim, had gained entry into the house by breaking through the rear window and fled through the main door. Ulu Langat OCPD ACP Rosli Mohd Nizam said police are looking for a man, believed to be the victim's boyfriend, and two other housemates. He said police have classified the case as murder and will await a post mortem report from the Serdang Hospital to acertain if the victim was raped. He urged those with information to call Kajang CID at 03-8736 2222. According to a neighbour, M.Meena, 44, who lives opposite Tang's house, the student who had never mingled or spoken to them moved into the house about three months ago. She said a middle-aged man who drove a silver Proton Waja often turned up to fetch the victim from the house. The housewife said there was also a couple whom she had seen putting up in the house but was unsure if they were tenants of the house. The elderly neighbour who called the police said he often saw the middle-aged man spending time in the house but was surprised that he had not turned up throughout the five hours police were at the scene dusting the place for clues with the help of forensics police and tracker dogs.
