Atrecord Supersonic July 12, 2016 Share July 12, 2016 There is simply too many cctvs out there. Look up our lamp posts, HDB void decks, lifts, MCCP, etc. The twit should have robbed in Bangkok instead then go Fark until his legs become like rubberband. Wah lao... Your first sentence could be right. But second sentence i think the fella can't do it. He's Canadian (not Aussie) AM, so can write inklish here give to local teller here who understooded what he wrote, so guai guai give $$. In Bangkok, i doubt he can write those ภาษาไทย words to say wanna rob bank. If he uses the same slip he wrote here, good chance the tellers there will need to activate whole bank to find someone to translate it. Finally, even if the banks there got no guns, possible they know muay thai and the fella might not even be able to run to airport uncaught/uninjured.... ↡ Advertisement

Jman888 Moderator July 12, 2016 Share July 12, 2016 Standard Chartered robbery: Suspect a first-time visitor to Singapore Posted 12 Jul 2016 10:02 SINGAPORE: The man suspected of robbing Standard Charted Bank's Holland Village branch on Jul 7 was making his first visit to Singapore, according to Police Major-General Apichat Suriboonya, who is the head of Interpol Bangkok. Mr Suriboonya told Channel NewsAsia on Tuesday (Jul 12) that the man, who is from Canada, had been to Thailand "many times", according to records. The suspect was arrested on Sunday at a hotel in Bangkok's Pratunam district, he added, and is now in detention in Thailand's Immigration Department. When asked about the suspect's release to Singapore, Mr Suriboonya said he understands Singapore had already sent an extradition request to Thailand's Attorney General's Office, and that it is being considered by the Thai prosecutor. More details will be revealed at a press conference in Thailand on Wednesday, he added. The suspect allegedly made off with S$30,000 from the bank last Thursday. He left for Bangkok on the same day shortly after the crime was reported, the Singapore Police Force said on Monday. - CNA/dl

Watwheels Supersonic July 12, 2016 Share July 12, 2016 Ang Mo does not automatically means they can speak proper English. Many European are Ang Mo, but they only understand and speak German or Italian or Spanish. So he wrote that demand slip that he gave to the bank teller in German or Italian or Spanish?
