Cheap, space, design.

Choose 1.

I would choose space....

I need some space in and outside our flat...

I cannot imagine after a stressful day at work, being squeezed by bosses... and then I come back home, ganna squeeze by the narrow corridors, and smaller home....

Like that, I would be very very stressful leh ...

Great choice. It's an important criteria for me as well.

Many have argued that there is a growing number who can cope with small spaces. I think it is also fair having visited and lived in some.

Much depends on one's personality.

Corridor space is even more controversial. But I believe that narrow corridors just meeting the minimum will get more common in the future maybe in some ECs or private condos if the land the developer bought is expensive.

Last time many families had huge altars, large desktop computers, gigantic CRTV, complicated kitchen for cooking.

I would think that many modern families might not need most of that. True?

Old one big big
Young one small small

70% of ppl said narrow corridor is ok... Mandate so clear...

This design of narrow corridor, exposed sewage pipes, smaller rooms will be a normal sight in all future construction ...

i think since the idea of "build at factory" and "assemble onsite" ... many of the services cannot be "hidden" liao

it's like lego ... piece-by-piece assemble ... faster, cheaper but not better ... 2 out of 3 objectives met

Those that think narrow corridor is ok may not be so unfortunate to have a handicap person who stays with you. Its a nightmare to navigate the shoes outside, avoid the handing dripping clothes and the odd prayer stuff at the main door...

hopefully this voicing of concern does not give raise to the reply of...

if you don't like it, you can leave or buy a better place ..

Agreed with your point :)

But too bad, they do not know of these issues before booking their units, and when they did complain, its late liao ....

All cast in stone and bricks liao ....

And now with 70% saying ok, everything is fine again ....

Wait till they have elderly at home, and they would then experience their difficulties in moving a wheel chair ....

Anyway, looks like all the DBSS issues that were brought up recently have all die down liao ..... haiz...

I think those buyer wise up now, complain also to contractor only, not blow it up in media..the larger they blow it up, the faster their value drop in future when times up for resale market.., better keep quite and 5yrs later, quickly sell it away to those who didn't know their problems... Hehe...
