if you are referring to the family, I dont think they are getting up to  the express way. But if you referring to the signage, I view it as a good reminder to the clueless cyclists.

Maybe he wanted to go Newton Hawker centre but head straight into tunnel. 

If he knew this tunnel lead to Moulmein then seriously need to check his brain.

Meaning probably entered from Moulmein.... Then skip the busy Bt Timah exit into Cairnhill...
