  1. Many people say Toyota no longer offers value for money cars in Singapore. Its expensive, not worth it, old fashion specs etc For the money you are paying to buy a Vios with drums brakes, no leather seats, manual aircon, missing DRL, you might as well buy a Korean car. It has better trim level and is much cheaper. In my view the reason why the local agent priced it higher is because the brand is associated with reliability. You may hear people saying Korean cars are just as reliable but the Kia and Hyundai are still one notch below Toyota. Their selling point is they offer better interior design, more features such as wireless HP charging, rear aircon. However not everyone is impressed with these type of stuff. The more stuff the car has, the higher the chances of it breaking down and electronic stuff is usually 1 yr warranty only. What are your views?
  2. Is it alright to tickle a girl who is just a good friend. I was in town yesterday to meet some friends for dinner. Everyone was late except for me and this girl (to be married in Dec). All of us have been good friends for a long time already. So while waiting for the rest to come, we starting chatting about normal stuff. She began to tease me about some stupid things i did before. We laugh and i told her to stop. But she carried out teasing me. So i went to tickle her waist. She squirmed and laughed and carried on teasing. So i carried on tickling her. This carried on for about 1 min. Then i suddenly saw my wife's friend looking at us. But she walked away. Am i in trouble? Is it alright to tickle a girl when joking about something?
  3. Hi guys, My car is a front wheel drive toyota harrier , today my starter failed so i had to call AA to come to tow my car. we engaged Neutral to move the car to the fork . and i guess after attached the fork to the front wheels, the tow driver then engaged to Parking gear but he left the hand brake down. later when we arrive to the workshop. i realised that that the gear was shifted to parking mode. I was fraid it might damaged the brakes or even the gear.I asked the tow driver he claimed that it is okay becos the foot brake is not engaged and the front wheels are off the ground when they tow to the workshop. does anyone have any advice on this?

  5. Hi all, My 9 years old daughter has been asking me to allow her to walk home by herself when her school (morning session) finished at 1:30pm. Currently the school is about a few HDB blocks or almost equal to one bus stop distance away from home. I drive her to school in the morning and the maid bring her back from school in the afternoon. While I thought it is good that she wanted to be more independent but I'm concern about her safety. Although I used to walk to school to and fro from home at the age of 7 and during those days, there were bullies and gangsters around the neighbourhood. What do you think, Yes or No? any other options? She doesn't like taking school bus. Thank you very much. Regards,
