The 2026 Deepal S05 has been released in the mainland. Dimensions remain the same as the 2024 model year. China models get a 200kW rear drive motor that can do the century sprint in 6.3 seconds. Singapore gets the gimped mode version with a measly 99kW of power...☹️ There's two battery packs available from CATL. The smaller 56.12 kWh battery pack that can do CLTC range of 520km (about 410km on WLTP cycle). A larger 68.82 kWh battery pack that can do CLTC range of 620km (about 485km on WLTP cycle). Which is the same as that's on offer here in Singapore. The unique item for the 2026 model is the provision of a 128-channel LiDAR from Hesai that works together with the other 26 other sensors to form the vehicle's perception hardware suite. Only the top end trims get LiDAR. Everything on the outside looks the same as the old model. Mainland China models have the option of 18" rims to improve fuel efficiency and increase driving range. Inside the new 2026 Deepal S05 are a pair of J6M driving-assistance chips from Horizon Robotics providing a total computing power of 256 Trillion Operations Per Second (TOPS) or 128 TOPS per chip. The computing power is needed for supporting assisted-driving functions in urban areas, on highways and during parking. This should be better than the older 2024 model. However, its lagging behind competitors such as the Xpeng L03 with it's single Turing chip having 700 TOPS of computing power and able to have a triple chip configuration. Inside of the 2026 Deepal S05 looks to be the same as the previous model. New color options. Deepal chairman Deng Chenghao states that the vehicle's smart-cockpit chip had been upgraded to a 3nm process, claiming to significantly improving system responsiveness. So this is new on the 2026 model. Mainland China S05 has an EREV version with a CLTC battery only range of 200km (around 150km on WLTP). A combined CLTC range of 1,234 km (about 1,000km on WLTP). The fuel consumption with a depleted battery is 4.35L per100 km based on CLTC or around 5.3L per 100km on WLTP.

QUADS are quite pricey. If u keen to fix and re-use them, only need to add a streamer into RCA. TV and mobile phone can connect to the streamer and play all input into the QUADS
