  2. 91 is just the ones that got caught.
  3. Different country might have diff, spec. If you want to shortlist best is go dealer and pop the bonnet on showroom floor.
  4. at current COE 91 X $130k = $12 million haven't count ARF and GST yet imagine MAS made a similar mistake involving $12M worth of old bank notes
  5. Ah P*** still alive? Heard he long gone liao? I long time not in industry liao.
  6. Found some details on the air conditioning compressor unit used in the refrigerant loop of BYD vehicles. See picture below. The nameplate on the air conditioning compressor provides several important details: Manufacturer: BYD Auto Industry Co., Ltd. Description: Electric Compressor Assembly Refrigerant: R134a Rated operating voltage: approximately 408.8 V Compressor model: HDE-8103020D Compressor assembly identification code: ACE66D or similar, depending on the exact label marking The most important markings are “Compressor assembly identification code” and “Rated operating voltage.” These markings confirm that the air conditioning compressor is part of BYD's high voltage thermal management system. Unlike a traditional engine-driven compressor, it's directly powered by the traction battery through the high voltage system at around 410V. There's an internal inverter that converts incoming high voltage DC power into three-phase AC power to drive the compressor motor. The high voltage air conditioning compressor is grouped into following sections: Compressor mechanical body; Three-phase permanent magnet motor; Internal inverter drive module; Electronic control board; Rotor position or speed detection circuit; High-voltage DC input section; Low-voltage communication and control connector; Internal temperature protection circuit; Insulation monitoring-related structure; and Refrigerant compression and lubrication system. It's much more complicated than the traditional ICE vehicle air conditioning compressor. Thus the general idea of inspecting whether the 12 V compressor clutch engages does not apply to BYD electric vehicles. Most high voltage electric compressors do not use conventional electromagnetic clutches. Their operation depends on whether the vehicle control system issues a speed command, if high voltage power is available, if the safety conditions are satisfied, and whether the compressor itself has internal electrical or mechanical faults. The same component provides cooling into the cabin as well as cooling the traction battery. Interesting that BYD makes their own air conditioning compressor and did not go out to a third party supplier. Which means BYD has better management of the design and development as well meeting their internal strict quality assurance and control guidelines. Still, the air conditioning compressor needs to be bullet proof as it's reliability greatly determines the vehicle's functionality. I.e. if can continue to drive down the road or turns the vehicle into a brick. 7. My MY cousins say MY collects old dirty notes and destroy them. But still so many old dirty notes in MY. What if the destroyer and his supervisor came to a nice agreement?
  8. Use PMD safer mah. Can outrun LTA and TP bikes.

  11. if LTA runs MAS will we see old bank notes that is supposed to get destroyed, leak out and circulating around? 😁
  12. People sell drugs get caught they die Drive a de reg car save on COE, car price, road tax, insurance and inspection. Its thousands and thousands and get caught wont die one just go jail. The risk reward equation is better than selling drugs. COE now how much?
  13. After reading this thread I think there will be even more deregistered cars in SG. Polis faster catch my MIL and put her in jail.
  14. Cheat govt money not scared go jail ah? Anyway, CCB LTA. JLB, jiak sai.
  15. Well that's a surprise. Tot we went with Archer. https://www.asianmilitaryreview.com/2026/10/singapore-introduces-sigma-155mm-sph-and-loitering-munitions-foc/ Singapore introduces Sigma 155mm SPH and loitering munitions
  16. If people wonder why got so many deregistered cars in SG. Its has nothing to do with jamesc used cars. I have been in MCF for 20 years. If any hanky panky I would be in jail or at the very least changed my name. jamesc used cars is the most trusted used car dealer in SG. Soon to be branching out to JB and maybe Batam.
  17. Today
  18. Yah lah it's like drug runners die die must speed or cut red light and by sheer accident a TP stop them. Yes pay for all parking, don't speed or cut red lights esp with cameras or cut queue and get hit and then got insurance claim. Drive politely and always give way.
  19. If really don't want to get caught file away the engine and chassis number. So if car gets impounded and towed away no one can trace the car back. To really really not get caught chassis number got a few places depending on model. Must find and file away all the numbers.
  20. That period covers mainly Circle and Downtown Line, which passes through a lot of private property areas.
  21. also, keep your head down, keep low profile a simple road side saman will end it quickly because the saman will be sent to the legitimate owner ask me how I know
  22. Honestly, I have been making the effort to find these machines to recycle the cans and bottles. Because, first of all, money is money. The 10 cents do add up, and I'm not letting my money go to waste. I'm also lucky that there's one machine literally at my void deck downstairs, so it's quite convenient. And there's four more in my vicinity cos there's like 3 supermarkets around me. But even if I'm not near home I will purposely seek out these machines to recycle. Maybe I too much free time. 🤭 After a while it just becomes habit. But I do agree the system can be improved. More methods of getting the refunds beyond PayLah and EZ-Link, for example. And having them at more locations would be ideal. Like there should be one near every hawker centre and coffee shop.
  23. Export to MY. Fit fake MY plates and drive back to SG. Reach SG throw away fake MY plates and fix SG plates. The trick is find exact same colour and model eg E200 black find a E200 black MY car use exactly same number. Then in SG find another E200 black with SG plates use back same no. One idiot in SG never do his home work and used a different car model. Same no but one was BM 5 series and one Toyota. MIL say one so polis please find her to go jail not me. She also says don't throw away fake MY plates and go in and pump 95. This is where she is so foolish. Drive a deregistered car and still want to drive in and out asking to get caught. Just pump SG petrol lah Save so much on COE, road tax, insurance and still want to use cheap MY petrol. Haiz that's just greedy.
