On the same front , it is the same for our leadership , they are totally disengaged from whatever that is happening in this country. I do need to remind them , singapore is a small country with only 3+mil singaporeans , why should we be paying multi millions to MPs when they cannot even settle such a simple matter!?! One should really attend one of the townhall meetings or the tea party to know what kind of things they talk about and are up to.

 

How many MPs are getting paid in the high percentiles of the population for merely 3mil singaporeans ? Have they forgotten who put them in power in the first place?

Personally , i would think it in this way , if her husband can do this to other's husband or family , why can't people do it to her and her family?

I like to bring up a moral story of any person with or unwittingly without knowing ( know but pretend that it does not bother me ), Every retailers with the intention of running a biz must have the sole intention to abide by the rules and respect code of ethics of the trade

 

Let's say any MP here are aware that many retail shops do run fouls of the rules, from times to times, complaints were mild and kept in closet, unless CASE and Small Claim Tribunal comes into play, get published in media, and all frenzy / hell broke loose, MP in questions will be harder to evade the topics, Till now only couples speak up for fear of what, I really wonder ?

 

My Questions:

 

1/ Who is responsible for laws and Order.- The Mall Management, Police Dept, Retailers Association of Singapore or Tenant Cartels in the doing ?

2/ Who is on the right frame of mind to take the case further, The Victims or the Harasser ?

3/ Likely the harasser, so in this particularly case, The Chinese Lady and her aunt together with the Vietnam Couple + The Maid are not in cahoot to create a scene by such harassment act of public decency.

4/ How can the guilty get away with it and carry on w/o the authorities taking serious action ? for recalcitrant offences, the punishment will be double or jail / fined or both.

 

5/ To take law into own hands is a double standard, How can we face ourself and say this, I open shop to make money, I only sell goods regardless of race, language or religions and will go and cheat, harass & bring injustice to all till I'm done. Are we in a society capable of making profits w.o duty of care, servitude and professional conduct?

 

6/ Singapore's tenant and landlord must not have the mentality that so long as one makes money at other's expense, so we wash our hands in dirty laundry and let it shines for others to see, the world has eyes and ear, so karma will befall on those who does evil deeds.

 

7/ Singapore Govt MUST take ACTION on these recalcitrant offenders ASAP or the STPB's effort in making ' SIngapore A Fine City logo stick out like Sore Thumb.will be wasted and looks stupid. Stickers like CASE TRUST pasted in shops- What and how does it goes about, what is the significant of CASE TRUST?

 

8/ I urge the relevant authority to REGULATE retailers " CODE OF CONDUCT " and BUSINESS ETHICS.

 

9/ Praise the good retailers by rewarding them and shame those retailers by counselling, rehab, if that does not work, Fined them with demerits points- suspension, bar for infinite period.

 

10/ Set up complaint counters ( another brother's suggestion ) which questions the liability of who will take charge and take the complaint further.

 

And I urge all of us not to patronise SLS, LuCkY PLaZa, PeOple PaRk or any others infamous mall with dubious claims of harassment to STOP their malpractices once and for all.

 

I hope SLS mall management can come out with a plan to make SLS mall a place where only a minority black sheep are in cahoots, some are innocent retailers that are caught up in the frenzy.

I didn't buy from her cos she was chio (although yes i walk to the shop to talk to her cos she was chio). Ultimately she provided good price and service. I had no idea of her relationship to the idiot until now.

 

I just wanted to vouch for J2M from my own 1st hand experience that at least that shop and Winnie are honest. That's all. Whether she know or don't know, condone or not, i also don't know. And to be honest, i am also not sure the next time i need to buy something whether i will still go to J2M or not (assuming it is still operating).

I bought an iPad from J2 before because the other 3 shops that I usually buy from didn't have stock.

 

I probably would not buy from J2 in the same scenario now because she is related by marriage to that fella and this is not a one off spur of the moment act. It's am intentional act that has been going on for ages.
