It's better they listen to "feedback" and do "analysis than just go ahead with nonsense logic.

Supersonic

It's better they listen to "feedback" and do "analysis than just go ahead with nonsense logic.

They had years to do analysis and get feedback. But still always cock up. Bottom line is to get everything in order and then announce right? Reeks of incompetency to keep adding and changing bits every few months. I say sack the whole lot of them. Useless!!

As the VES date looms, imho there will be a rush to grab the remaining cars before the stock runs out. Then when there's a dearth of cars which are tax neutral, Coe may drop. Eventually when new cars with better emissions come in, the average car will still have a price tag which hovers around the same range. 100k plus minus 10-15 is the median transaction price.

this reflect very poorly on those in charge of the scheme. when you waive, surely it is not by guts feel but good solid reasons. now you turn the table, it shows they were either all sleeping or not knowing their work. what i worry most is they were under instruction from higher up to reverse this decision. then surely members of the public should be told who is this person.

i think LTA is obligated to provide a massaged statement on why this happen. whatever they going to make public, please remember the public are also not stupid. so better tell more elements of truth

IMHO some people from the Asian makes may have been trying to pitch their exclusions.

And the guys who listened dropped the ball.

Hmmm so stringent on our sg cars, but close both eyes for the Malaysian trucks, lorries and cars entering sg...

When you see on our roads those black fumes shooting out from the exhausts of those Malaysian vehicles you will wonder if there is any meaning to the CEVS other than just a new policy to eat more $$ from us
