IMO it isn't much different from those who let the kids ride pillion on their motorcycles or even electric bicycles. I also use a trailer for my kids but with a trailer I use the PCN cuz I am not going fast.

Answer is obvious - Even if they are lucky enough to avoid being run over, the exhaust fumes will eventually kill them being expose at such young age....

Many times I see kids in rear seat not belt up & some even standing. Emergency braking like this will cause them to catapult through the windscreen.
