Adrianli Hypersonic July 5, 2016 Share July 5, 2016 Well I Guess that's one silver lining, good defensive driving mate When I turn in, I saw the white lorry appear, look the the left side of the video. So I tot the white lorry gona make a left turn into my path. So I drove defensively. Didnt expect a cyclist to appear instead. The white lorry was just parking at the side of the road.
1fast1 Supersonic July 5, 2016 Share July 5, 2016 Nearly knocked down a cyclist yesterday afternoon. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KqDGEhl7FWs This kind of cyclist you cannot stay too angry at for long. Asians mostly like this. Maybe some PRCs are the exception. But those AMDK types and those homegrown AMDK-wannabes may pull this sort of dangerous stunt and expect you to apologise to them, all the while scolding you or even physically obstructing/abusing your car.
Ender Hypersonic July 5, 2016 Share July 5, 2016 Yes. He was apologising to me. At least he knows he is in the wrong.. Some, stereotyping the spandex riders, will point middle finger for being honk at.
Jellandross Supersonic July 5, 2016 Share July 5, 2016 Nearly knocked down a cyclist yesterday afternoon. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KqDGEhl7FWs wah very heng no accident! nowadays i practice light honking to warn cyclists or cars who looked like they are about to move out from minor roads like this. i think as long as light honk other drivers hopefully will not be offended. i learnt the hard way long time back when i was driving along a main road at night and a car exiting from a minor road similar in the video banged into my kar chng as i passed by him. although he was apologetic, he said that he really didn't see me as he was tired and that my car is black colour in the night some more i know that from the perspective of the driver on the main road, we assumed that all drivers exiting from the side roads will check for safety. but in reality some of them will really not see you approaching for whatever reasons. i think that if i had gave a little honk that day to alert the other driver, maybe that accident could be avoided. FourZero Hypersonic July 6, 2016 Share July 6, 2016 Yes. He was apologising to me. I find those tat use bicycle to commute generally not aggressive n will apologies, but those tat cycle for sports or leisure on the roads will be nasty even if u horn at them to notify them that u r gg to filter into the left lane to take a left turn (when they r occupying the middle of the left lane). Somehow it's always the case

They are facing two weeks in jail, a 7000$ fine (p.P.) and a 12 month revoke of their drivers licenses. Yeah this has nothing to do with us, but it has to do with our global community. Imagine facing a jailterm for organising a race. It´s unthinkable. Imagine to pay a shitload of money for gathering a bunch of people to do what we all love - cycling.
