6. Hi bros, Understand that the JDM swift sport needs Ron 100 petrol, if i install a Broquet, can i pump ron 97 petrol in Malaysia coz need to travel there very often. And will it prevent from engine "pinging" which happens when a driver pumps a fuel that is too low a grade of vehicle after install it. http://www.broquet.com.sg/__48256B8E0014D9...825719700222D7F Extract from the above link... THE WORKS But before I get started, let's examine how Broquet actually works. The unique Broquet Fuel Catalyst is a highly effective, yet simple, aid to better combustion and is recommended for all petrol and diesel engines. Broquet is a catalyst that when introduced into the fuel tank or fuel line of a diesel, petrol or oil-fueled engine, reacts with the fuel to improve the efficiency of the combustion process. Broquet also functions as an octane booster, treating ron95 fuels and giving you ron98-like performance. It will continually treat fuels for 400,000 km or an average of 15 years. Broquet works not only by promoting more efficient combustion but also removing, and then inhibiting the build-up of carbon deposits, waxes and gums that normally form in the combustion chamber. The overall result is significant reductions in exhaust emissions and fuel consumption, more power and less maintenance due to cleaner combustion components, installation is a breeze without any cutting of wires or hoses. Best part is Broquet requires no maintenance whatsoever. Drivers will also realise that its easier to start their engines and while on the move, the car is a lot smoother. Broquet also keeps engine oil cleaner and eliminates engine "pinging" which happens when a driver pumps a fuel that is too low a grade of vehicle. Thks in advance for those who share their views. Cheers
7. As above, complained a customer at Autobacs this morning. The reply he got was that Broquet is better for long distance driving. Which I intepret as Broquet helps you to save fuel only during long distance highway driving. Any Tom, Dick or Harry knows that long distance highway driving gives any car excellent fuel economy. So what is the use of Broquet in the first place???
8. Today my petrol hose was leaking petrol pretty badly. I lost at least 1 quarter of the tank. When I opened the bonnet, I realised that the petrol hose was lose. So I pushed it in further till it clicked. After I got AAS to tow it to Mazda to have a check, they (mazda) told me I have to pay $20.60 for labour coz the leak was because of the ?Broquet installation?, which could have made the clip on 1 end of the petrol hose go loose. Basically, I heard they just pushed the hose further in and tested the petrol system for leaks. I'm not sure if it's my m'sian mechanic who didn't do a good job of fixing the petrol hose back. But it was already 2 months ago. Anyway, I'm not too happy about it today coz the mechanics at mazda told me that I have to change the petrol hose to the original one (coz I've cut the hose into half and added my broquet in between) for them to still warranty my car against any other future petrol leaks. (Of course they will still give warranty on other problems.) Bad news was. That rubber hose cost $85 if I want to replace it (parts only, exclude labour). Don't ask me why it's so expensive. And all the mazda spare parts shop out there don't stock this part. But when I spoke to a senior service adviser, he was quite open-minded towards such modifications. He said, as long as it's not those additives or even "motor up", it's alright to use it as long as it gives me more mileage. He also told me that it's worth to keep it. But have to monitor if it's leaking again. If it is leaking again, then he suggest I change the petrol hose back to the original one. Then if there is anymore leak, it'll be mazda's responsibilities. Any comments? kianbeng

11. Just wondering if installing a top fueller in a 1.4l car be of any use.
12. Hi guys, Just bought the broquet B30 from Astralee as he just sold his car. How much will the instalation be and how to know whether a Broquet has been used for 400,000km or for how long a distance? He had told me he bought it for first hand and had used for about 50,000km. So it would be best not to cut the original fuel line and so how do we install the Broquet then? Went to a mechanic and he told me that it is best not to install it as it will damage the fuel pump, how true is that??? Hope that experts down there can advise! :) thanks
13. Does anybody knows the performance of CAPSULE and BROQUET? Any significant difference in power and fuel consumption????

21. Hi... just wondering who amongst MCFers have Broquet Top Fueler (the one just after Boostmaster 40) installed and your experience with it such as - (1) is yours horizontally installed vs vertically set up (2) do you 'smell' petrol, even when visibly there is no leak and no petrol stains on the parking lot (3) did you encounter any problems - e.g. sluggishness, feeling of restricted fuel flow etc ?
22. Hi experts out there, especially Cool, I have the broquet BM30 installed on my car, recently, I have been hearing alot about the fuel magnets and was wondering if there would be a problem using these magnets on the fuel line..........for example, with the metal ore additive from the broquet clog up the fuel line where the magnets are??
23. hi guys, i have just done the above.my concern is, does they work well together ? somehow i feel the car responses worse at low torque after i installed the broquet.it is better when there is only the fuelmax. i have also change the filter to k&n ones, uses iridium plugs, change to jetracing spark plugs cables. anyone can help ?

25. I have this Broquet fuel catalyst that I installed on my Merc 200 (model 123) when the govt decided to stop selling leaded petrol. Anyway, I've since scrapped my Merc, and bought a new car. I'm planning to install the Broquet which mine is a inline version, on to my Mazda 323. Just wondering if it'll nullify any warranty from Mazda? Coz......isn't this modifying the car already?
