hi, i hv a prob..need some advice. My car previous owner chg into wing mirrors & now e right side cant fold up..hv those rustling sound. Sound like e motor weak or mechanism jam. Ani1 noe where 2 repair it ? tks tks

ok, just realized i have a missing wing mirror cover (only right side) (for silver altis)........ where is the good place to get a replacement? any shop with pricing info?... ...prefer 2nd hand and want it cheap only........... i think i really have to drop by si beh lor to pray pray....

I was on the 2nd lane driving leisurely at 70kmh after a dinner night out...I saw you suddenly appearing beside me...can see your handsome face with your chio gf looking at me la...my windows were winded down and I could hear your loud loud exhaust...the next thing you let me hear was your psst psst sound from your Blow-off valve indicating to me that your Vios is equipped with a turbo (how big or small I dunno la) Then you gave me a smile and then quickly slowed down and came behind my car...could hear you kp revving your engine and letting me hear your HKS SQV BOV sound...your distance was so close to me that I think I can even see your shiny white teeth. Maybe you think my humble little Rex is a TS poser due to my (stock bodykit and stock exhaust) or you were dying to show off to your gf that your car can makan any cars...whatever the reason, even if you makan me for breakfast, lunch and dinner I also don't care cos my stomach is still digesting the large amount of food that I had devoured only 15min ago and also not interested to play any stupid games with you...at least not on our Singapore roads. In the end, I let you tailgate me at 70kmh for the next 10min or so....until I think you bui tahan and zoomed past me with a black face...sry to disappoint you mate! Pls la...wanna prove something, go prove it on the track la. And btw, your plastic-looking GT wing looks rather ugly...imho... Anyone has similar encounters before? Not the first time for me though. -

It can comfortably fly 10,000 Miles (16,000 km) at Mach 0.88 or 654 mph (1,046 km/h) with 1000 passengers on board ! They have kept this secret long enough.. The BOEING 797 Boeing is preparing this 1000 passenger Jet Liner that could reshape the Air Travel Industry. Its radical "Blended Wing & Fuselage" design has been developed by Boeing in cooperation with NASA Langley Research Centre. The mammoth aircraft will have a wing span of 265 feet compared to 211 feet of its 747, and its been designed to fit within the newly created Air Terminals for the 555 seat Airbus A380, which is 262 feet wide. The new 797 is Boeing's direct response to the Airbus A380, which has racked up orders for 159 already. Boeing decided to kill its 747X Stretched Super Jumbo in 2003 after little interest was shown for it by Airline Companies, but continued to develop its "Ultimate Airbus Crusher", the 797 at its Phantom Works Research Facility in Long Beach, California. The Airbus A380 had been in the works since 1999 and has accumulated $13 Billion in development costs, which gives Boeing a huge advantage. More so because Airbus is thus committed to the older style tubular structure for their aircraft for decades to come.

Now watching SH Ch401 Battle Stations on F15. My jaws dropped after watching this segment: An Israeli F15D collided with a A4 Skyhawk in 1983 & lost the right wing. The pilot did not know he lost a wing because of the leaked fuel obscuring his vision & managed to come out of a spin after engaging afteburner. Maintaining a higher than normal landing speed the couragrous pilot was able to land the damaged bird almost using up the entire runway. Only then he was able to inspect the damage & his reaction was that if he had knew what had happened he would have ejected with his navigator. Really incredible fighter!!! It remain the only fighter never to have been shot down by a bogey in any air-to-air combat.

I am looking for someone to share the cost to purchase the other side of the wing mirror, since the spare part came in a pair (both left and right). The part will come plain with no spray-paint to your car body's color. The part (left & right) will cost $80.30, I will absorb the $0.30 though. Hence, you will take the left cover for $20. (JAKARTA) A two-metre-long piece of wing broke away from a jetliner minutes after it took off from Indonesia's largest airport, but the plane managed to land safely, officials said yesterday. The incident late on Wednesday involved a Boeing 737 operated by local carrier Batavia Airways. It will add to concerns about the safety of flying in Indonesia, which suffered a series of accidents earlier this year that killed more than 120 people. The wing section measuring around two metres by 1 1/2 metres fell from the plane around 15 minutes after it left Jakarta's Sukarno-Hatta airport on a domestic flight, said Totok Suwarto, a senior official there. Anton Situmeang, a spokesman for Batavia Air, said the plane underwent a full service 'around one or two months ago', adding that a full probe into the incident had been ordered. Mr Suwarto said the plane returned to Sukarno-Hatta without incident. Detik.Com news website said the wing piece hit a house not far from the airport, but there were no immediate reports of injuries.
