Regen is never 100% efficient. You get back say 70 to 80% when u slow down and you are maybe 90% efficient when u re-accelerate back to original speed. Best mileage is to minimise braking/regen.

Does Tesla kit the cars with level 4 driving hardwares (ie cameras or lidars etc) or they are stripped off for the Singapore model ?

Regen would make the car feel jerky, even though it gain mileage and improve FC.

The SL7 does do regen even if you press brakes .. thatβs why sometimes you gotta hard brake

Actually say liao also paisay, after 8 months of driving an EV, recently then I realized how to use the regen to gain mileage. I used to just rev and brake like how I used to drive ICE cars, and hard braking more often because of the high rev from stop. Recently because I wanted to change my wiper, I came across some videos talking about regen, and started trying. What I didn't realize was that I actually do not have to hit the brake immediately when I release the accelerator, it will actually slow down faster than what ICE cars would. Still trying to get use to it, not fun really, but it can improve FC by about 5%, or put an extra 20km of range to the battery, and definitely save the brake pads. Drive like that, I think can reach KL without stopping for a charge, but will take at least 5 hrs.
