  1. Anyone got stuck on PIE last evening for more than an hour and half? A few of us in the team did so, no thanks to someone who swerved out at the last minute, causing an accident that required a huge cleaning-up effort from the authorities. Thanks to SG Road Vigilante, we now know what caused the accident which happened at PIE's Steven Road exit in the direction of Jurong, at 630pm. While the accident itself didn't cause any serious injury, it is obvious that the Mazda 3 driver was at fault. According to the comments online, it does look like he or she was trying to avoid a frontal collision in his/her own lane by swerving into lane 2 but that unfortunately meant that the 2 motorcyclists that were lane-spliting, had to fall due to such a move. Kudos to both the tipper truck and the Malaysian van for being reactive to what was happening in front of them!
  2. The last few days have been relatively peaceful for our roads until this particular accident that was post by SG Road Vigilante caught our attention. With the accident happening a couple of weeks ago (17 July), this is not the latest news but it is one of the most recent videos that surfaced online. What made us sit up and take notice is how the Toyota Hiace driver lost control of his van. To zoom past the camera car on the left at that speed must have meant that the Hiace driver lost it way before the Steven Road exit on PIE towards Jurong. He then went across 3 lanes at approximately 80km/h before smashing into the center barriers and coming to a stop in the middle of the highway. What do you guys think happened? Let us know in the comment box below!
  3. (this video clip was taken on 18012013, Friday afternoon) GBB 2439 X, you are going to be in public scrutiny for intention to cause injury or death to other road user. Dear Netizen, you be the judge. I am showing the full 3 minutes to show the tyrannical act of this road bully who nearly kill a motorist. The accident took place on Friday- 18012013 afternoon on PIE

  6. http://www.asiaone.com/Digital/News/Story/...1029-96970.html Anybody want to earn a quick $5000 No one willing to be Steven Lim's girlfriend even for $5,000 Controversial Singaporean blogger Steven Lim posted a message on his site offering $5,000 to anyone who wants to be his girlfriend, but has yet to get a single reply after 19 days, local Chinese daily Shin Min Daily News reported. According to Shin Min, Steven Lim, 32, posted the message on October 9 telling visitors to his site that he was looking for a girlfriend. Interested parties should submit their photos via email, or send him and SMS. The selected 'candidate' will then be rewarded with $5,000 in cash. He also uploaded a video to his post, in which a couple was shown kissing and hugging each other. A message flashed across the screen at the end of the clip, "Wah... so sweet!!! I also want a girlfriend!!! CASH REWARD: $5,000 for successful applicant." When Shin Min interviewed Lim, he told the Chinese paper that the video and post were uploaded on October 9, but has received no applications or queries as of October 28. Lim told Shin Min that the lack of a response to his ad does not bother him, "It's really all for fun. I'm just trying it out to see what kind of a reaction I'll get from this." "Actually the couple in the video recording are really just models from my modeling agency. The video was done to promote them and create further awareness of their talents." "If I eventually receive an application, I will definitely give that girl the promised $5,000 cash prize. It's not as if this amount of money means a lot to me!", Lim told Shin Min. He also told Shin Min that he used to know a number of Netizens through his blog, and will chat with them on a regular basis. However, the number of friends on his chat list has dwindled since he uploaded the clip with a message seeking a girlfriend. Lim said, "Maybe they were worried that I'll be mistaken that they are chatting to me just for the money." Steven Lim claims on his blog that he is the "world's most handsome guy" and also claims to be the "shareholder of seven big public-listed companies". He describes himself as a very adorable person and that any girl who will be with him is guaranteed to be very happy. He also listed some requirements for his prospective girlfriend-to-be, stating that she must be "pretty, nice, faithful, gorgeous and rich". He also wrote that he does not care if the other party is "black, white or orange" and will accept her as long as she is willing to adopt him.

  10. STOMPer Steven found this security guard at Singapore Power building "rude", saying he even used a swear word on him as he asked to be allowed to wait for his friend at the entrance for two minutes. In an email today (2 Nov), Steven said this happened at about 1.20pm on 1 Nov, when he stopped his car to pick up a friend. "In about 10 seconds time, this security officer approached me with the first sentence 'You cannot wait here...What makes you so special that you can wait here while the rest cannot?'" The STOMPer said he explained that he would be moving off in two minutes as his friend was already on the way down. "He said 'Do you see the camera there? Who is going to answer to the management when they question?' "I replied 'I will'. He then said 'Not you, but me. I am in charge of this area, so I have to answer, not you'. "As I do not wish to get into an argument, I smiled at him and told him not to get too worked up and that I will definitely not make things difficult and will move forward if I can, had there not been a few lorries parked in front. "He then said 'You can go ahead and complain me if you want, I don't give a f*** to this job anyway, and I am not worked-up and am not hard-up for this job'." The STOMPer said he understands that it's against the building's rule to wait in the area. "At that time, I do see several vehicles waiting there to pick up someone. If we can't wait there, where can we wait to pick up anyone from this building? "Does this mean that he can use the 4-letter word?" he asked. The STOMPer said his friend came down in about '2mins 23secs'. "He then said loudly and rudely to my friend, who is working in Singapore Power Building, that 'this area is a no-waiting area between 12pm - 2pm'. "I was again taken aback! I don't see any sign stating what he claimed." The STOMPer wonders why the guard had to be so rude. "Perhaps he's frustrated with his job? Or he felt pressured by his superior? He seems to vent his anger at the public," he said. http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/viewPost6437.aspx
  11. Sorry to say this, but yes, this IS another Steven Lim thread Not really on him per se but really on what he's offering up in his business enterprise... That KNN is apparently offering models for photo-shoot...nothing special you might say? How about this then...the models are able to do NUDE shoots! WTH?!? Is it legal? http://stevenlim.net/models.htm I've got to say that the model (with the face scratched off) has got a nice pair of knockers though... One thing that prick must do so that his models get more work is to improve his Engrish first balls...he writes like a friggin' pimp!
