  1. I bet most of us don't know the reason for the 5th pocket ... I didn't know until I came across this article. Yahoo : Here's what that tiny pocket on the front of your jeans is really for What will you use the vestigial fifth pocket on your jeans for? The traditional "5-pocket" jeans are a staple of every guy's wardrobe, and have been for decades. With such longevity, it makes sense that some of the garment's original intent would be lost to history. Some of that intent has been reclaimed on a (quite long) Quora thread asking essentially the same question: What is that tiny pocket-in-a-pocket for? Well, it turns out, it was originally a watch pocket, meant to be just big enough to slip in a pocket watch, according to the Levi's blog. A watch in this pocket would be protected from the elements and from scratching, while still being easily accessible to check the time. Since then, watches have moved to the wrist or disappeared completely. Jeans still have the fifth pocket, though, so we may as well make use for it. Here are some common modern uses for the vestigial small pocket: Coin pocket. Ticket pocket. Condom pocket. Lip balm pocket. USB dongle pocket. Gum pocket. Lighter pocket.

  9. Not sure how true it is. Push pocket in KL I am sure you all have heard of "pick pocket". A new trend "push pocket". Read on.. for your own good A few days ago a new type of crime has surfaced in town. It goes something like this:- Somebody slips a hand-phone into your pocket, sometimes it could be just a wallet with an identity card and a few ringgit. A few minutes later, the 'owner' comes up and confronts you, the 'thief '. He makes a big commotion that you stole his stuff. You, caught unaware, are then pulled aside by the 'owner' for a settlement you are intimidated and threatened that if you do not pay up the police will be brought in. If you pay up, this 'owner' lets you go. If not, the police are brought in. Another strange thing is that there always seems to be a 'witness' to the your 'theft'. I am told this often happens to foreigners at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) or even at LRT trains. Given that you're 'guilty until proven innocent' as far as the Malaysian police are concerned, I understand some poor people are in jail for these 'offences'. At the KLIA, the 'owner' throws his hand-phone and wallet with the few ringgit notes into the luggage trolley of a just arrived passenger. The drama unfolds a few minutes later. The real culprit has easily convinced our Malaysian police to arrest the real victim (if he has not paid up the 'settlement' demand). This is a very serious matter. This is another form of extortionists operating in broad daylight. They are disgusting criminals who will do anything to rob and steal. The sickening part of the whole scenario is that unless you pay the "quoted settlement" money, they will put you in real trouble by calling the police.. The real culprit gets back his hand-phone and wallet but the real victim ( i.e. could be any one of us) is thrown into the police lock up and charged in court. So do be very careful, otherwise you may end up as a "thief" as you have no way to prove your innocence. Pass it on..... let more people be aware of such things around them. 10. looking at those threads in "Conti talk",i see alot of people are talking about the Bravo T-jet. this pocket rocket reminds me of the Colt Version R and i believe these two are a great contenders to each other. what is your choice between the two? i did some search on the internet and i found some informations on these two models with pictures to compare. Colt Version R is 1.5litre while Bravo T-jet is 1.4litre. the Colt produces higher power and torque than the Bravo, but the Bravo has got a "secret weapon" which can boost its torque instantly at a touch of a button which can surpass the Colt. the outlook of the Colt looks sportier, especially with the evo style bonnet, than the Bravo but the interior of the Bravo with red/blue(depending on colour of car)trim is much nicer than the plain looking Colt. the Colt Version R is a 2+2 seaters while i believed the Bravo T-jet could be a 2+3 seaters(correct me if iam wrong). the gearbox for the Colt is a traditional 5 speed manual transmission and the Bravo has got a 6 speed manual transmission which is definitely better than the Colt, this might gives the Bravo a closer ratio gearbox and better mileage compare to the Colt. needless to say,the continental car cost more than the japanese ones, but we are paying for what we get in terms of the overall quality. Colt Version R(about $72k) produces 163Bhp@6000rpm and 210Nm@3500rpm compression ratio 9:1 Bravo T-jet(about $90k) produces 150Bhp@5500rpm and 206Nm@2250rpm, 230Nm@3000rpm compression ratio 10:1(if i remember correctly) Front: Rear: Interior:
