Reason why they ride road bikes is because they wanna go fast. If go slow just use pcn riding Gravel bike or foldie. I dun think single rider on road bike would have such problem. Issue is with the convoy, they dun have a control measure when clearing the traffic junctions. Eg, if u do car convoy, sometimes convoy will break as the whole convoy cannot clear the traffic junction. The lead car will wait or slow down to allow the rest of the convoy to follow up once light turns green. They also rely on walkie talkie to communicate. On a road bike convoy, this is another level of complexity.

Are you using your brains? Convoy considered as one long vehicle? Then a steady stream of pedestrians crossing a traffic light also one big pedestrian?

put it in another way. 20 cars driving at highspeed tail gate 1 another reach a traffic light, first car pass. all 20 cars is justify to chiong the red light just because they are driving at high speed, tailgating and unable to brake in time?? its dangerous to brake, so all the cars should drive through??
