  1. Hi All, Some cars these days do not come with spare tires, although not much of an issues if you are in Singapore. However if traveling north in the middle of no man's land may be a problem and personally have a completely toasted tire with a spark plug pierced into the tires before in Malaysia. So the question is can tire sealant helped until you find a next available tire shop??? What about sidewalls???. Is there any external temporary patch of sort that can use on sidewall available in the market???? Note we are talking about temporary repairs only until you find earliest available help.

  3. much closer to home this time. SINGAPORE - Passengers on a Singapore Airlines (SIA) flight bound for Shanghai on Saturday had a bit of a scare when both engines experienced a temporary loss of power amid bad weather. The incident occurred at 39,000 ft about 3.5 hours after Flight SQ836, operated by an Airbus A330-300, left Changi Airport. "Both engines experienced a temporary loss of power and the pilots followed operational procedures to restore normal operation of the engines" said the airline's spokesman. The flight with 182 passengers and 12 crew on board continued to Shanghai and touched down safely at 10.56pm local time, he added. The engines were thoroughly inspected and tested upon arrival in Shanghai with no anomalies detected. SIA is reviewing the incident with engine maker, Rolls-Royce and Airbus.
  4. Please take noted ........... [sunny] SINGAPORE: There will be temporary changes to the parking and pick-up arrangements at Changi Airport's Terminal 1 (T1) from 2am on Friday (Oct 17) to 2am on Tuesday (Oct 21). These arrangements are part of a dry run in preparation of the closure of the T1 open-air car park in the last quarter of 2014. The Changi Airport Group announced the following changes on Tuesday (Oct 14) in a media release: During this four-day period, the open-air car park fronting T1 will be temporarily closed and relocated to Terminal 2 (T2). The T1 Arrival pick-up point will be moved to a new location outside the T1 Arrival Hall. The following measures will be in place to assist members of the public with the changes: Road signage and lane markings will be up to guide motorists to the relocated facilities. Signs will also be put up within the terminals. Airport staff and traffic marshals will be deployed to assist users and motorists. Videos to guide drivers to the relocated facilities will be available online. A free shuttle bus service will be added to supplement the existing Skytrain service for transfers between T1 and T2. It will operate daily at regular intervals. http://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/singapore/temporary-closure-of/1414428.html

  6. Hi, Just curious, is it possible to transfer my season parking to somewhere near to the airport for few days? I'm going to Bali for 6 days. Heard that the current taxi fare is expensive. So don't know what's the best option right now. I'm staying in Woodlands by the way. 1) Should I park at airport ? 2) Leave the car at home, take taxi? 3) Transfer to some area nearer to airport, then take taxi? Sorry if this question being asked before.
