The Code of Conduct is like the COC for South China Sea - if they think they can get away with it, they will. Just look at all the artificial islands there.

I was just talking about targeted enforcement in this thread not too long ago, looks like LTA is reading MCF. Well done and long overdue, better late than never at all.

i feel the authority is always one step behind

they have been preaching for car lite society isn't it?

then when covid hit, many people switch to cycling (for exercise, for mode of transport, or any other reasons)

now we have this scenario that govt has always wanted.. less driving, more cycling or other modes of transport

but they gabra and can't react effectively

same for PMD previously

Okay lah, give LTA some slack. Nobody in the world would have predicted the arrival of Covid, even much less so that it will result in a global cycling boom. Not that I disagree with your views on our G being reactive for a lot of things though, I'm with you on that. 

I will want to see more consistent and not sporadic enforcement on errant cyclists moving forward, as I'm a firm believer that licensing alone isn't the magic bullet. Time has to be given to LTA and the Active Mobility Panel to carefully consider all possible implications, before they can come out with a fair framework for licensing cyclists.

got to accept that there is a big difference between heavy vehicles, cars and motor, and bicycles 

but if beat red light and bang into pedestrians, cause severe injury then run away? That one should go to jail
