Hi all. I was just wondering how come nobody mentioned the massive jams we had on Monday morning on BKE??? Heard 3 lanes were blocked for several hours. I was in Jurong at abt 8am n tried to return to Woodlands n end up i reached Woodlands only abt 11am plus. Wah damm tired n hungry. I was going around in circles trying to get back to Woodlands n ended up I went Turf City walk around n shopping at Giant. Left at abt 11 am n the jam still along the BKE. One tour bus still along lane 1 n many police around. I also heard on the radio as I was searching a way back to Woodlands when I heard another accident on the PIE causing another bad jam.

Transsexual man jailed for oral sex with boy, 15 A TRANSSEXUAL shop assistant has been jailed for 15 months after luring a 15-year-old customer, who went to buy pancakes, into having oral sex. The victim, a student, had been playing computer games at home when he felt peckish and went to a 7-Eleven store to buy a snack at around 2am on Jan 8, 2011. He struck up a conversation with Tan Yeong Perng, believing him to be a woman as the then 34-year-old store assistant and cashier had long hair and wore make-up. Tan, now 36, had breast implants done years earlier in Thailand. He has a sexual preference for men and cross-dresses as a woman, a district court heard. The shop assistant asked the victim for his name, age and where he lived. The teenager claimed he was 16 and lived near Ang Mo Kio. While the student waited for his pancakes to be prepared, Tan went to the toilet to touch up his make-up. When the shop assistant came out, he led the victim to the storeroom and started kissing him. Tan pulled off the boy's shorts and committed the obscene act. The teenager's legs accidentally brushed against Tan's groin and he became suspicious. To confirm his suspicion, he touched Tan's groin - and discovered that the shop assistant was a man. In a state of panic and shock, he tried to pull away from Tan and felt the latter's teeth on his private parts. Eventually, the victim managed to get away and left. When he got home, his mother noticed that he immediately went to take a shower. She also found it odd that he then lit some joss sticks to pray at the altar. Asked what was wrong, he cried and told her what had happened. She called the police. Yesterday, District Judge Soh Tze Bian backdated Tan's sentence to Oct 30 last year after he had admitted to abusing the victim. Deputy Public Prosecutor Kavita Uthrapathy had asked for a jail sentence of at least 14 months, given the aggravating factors: Tan was a good 19 years older than the victim; they were strangers and he took advantage of the teenager. "Needless to say, the victim is traumatised by the incident," she said. Tan had a charge of molesting another teenager at another outlet taken into consideration. The shop assistant, who said he was sexually abused when he was a child, was found by the Institute of Mental Health to be suffering from alcohol dependence. He could have been jailed for up to 10 years and fined for sexually abusing the teenager. [email protected] the bolded part sibe funny.... [:p]

Yahoo news : Naked hostesses busted in police raid 20 naked Vietnamese hostesses were arrested during a police raid on Wednesday night. According to Lianhe Wanbao, the hostesses were caught serving customers naked in a lounge along Joo Chiat. Plainclothes policemen had visited the bar and saw the hostesses fully naked and having sex with customers in the lounge. The police conducted the raid at 8.50pm and arrested the Vietnamese women. They were ordered to put on their clothes before they were brought away for investigations. The lounge's customers were also asked to leave. Why I don't know about this ....................... I was on ECP this morning, a civic ambulance sound the siren near the Tg Katong Road exit. I was at lane 1, Almost all the cars filter to lane 2 to immediately when the ambulance approches. I saw the driver was alone and cannot confirm if there is anyone behind in the civic ambulance. As far as I understand, when ambulance is rushing to hospital, there will be more than 2 person. The speed was certainly more than 90km/hr, almost tailgating to those vehicles in front. Though all cars are slowing down. It indirectly caused a 4 cars collision. A mercedes cab jammed brakes and a ford hit it when one car filtered out from lane 1 to 2 without checking, trying to give way to this ambulance. The car in front of me, my car and a volvo suv managed to stop in time, however the volvo was hit from the back too. We all understand that all drivers should be alert and cautious when siren is heard. However, the action of the ambulance driver was unbecoming as he was tailgating all other cars in lane one during peak hours, causing many to abruptly change lane. We will not be able to confirm if the civic ambulance was attending to what sort of emergency, so all gave way as a benefit of doubt. There are also civic ambulance drivers sounding the siren just to make others clear the road for them to reach destination faster with no emergency on hand. The siren was only sounded when the stretch became more crowded, it should have sounded way ahead and not just then all the cars are slowing down to heavy traffic ahead. Those who travelled ECP in the morning will know the stretch after the gantry. Today incident really create some doubt of the level of emergency of the civic ambulance handled. Anyway, all motorist should be more careful when siren is heard. Almost joined in to form a chain collision.
