I think the Soviet strategy was to flood the GIUK gap was massed Backfire strikes. China can do it with land based missiles, its probably cheaper than having to raise and maintain a fleet of supersonic heavies. By the time your strike group take off and form up, you can already have missiles halfway to target? Back than, the anti ship missiles probably a lot bigger and less range? The Soviet bases were further from the expected action area I suppose, while China is expecting to fight closer to homebase. The Chinese shoreline and Soviet shoreline also very different shape.

Trump: “You stop providing intelligence information to Iran or I send more weapons to Ukraine.” Putin: you stop providing weapons to Ukraine or I send Iran more weapons He said all right, let's do it! Putin said let's go! And then both proceeded to continue doing what they were doing before. Seeing as the conversation apparently ran for around an hour; Trump spends the remaining 58 minutes on his usual uninterrupted ramblings, on all his usual talking points about how great he is, how stupid Biden is, how crooked Hillary is, how awesome the US is, how weak Europe is, the fake news, Russia-Russia-Russia-hoax - only interrupted by live commentary on whatever Fox News is currently talking about. All the while Putin is unsuccessfully trying to find a polite way to end the conversation and hang up.

OK this is a major peeve of mine. How, when motor journalists talk about 'feel of manual' driving when describing paddle shifters, they keep concentrating on the manual gear selection aspect but almost never talk about the clutch. Selecting gears yourself is only part of the appeal. Being able to modulate torque/power is also a very major part of the experience and control. Very curious how this 'pseudo clutch' will turn out.

The design of BYD's new 1,500kW chargers is ingenious. The charging cable is suspended above on rails thus making the 'T' shape of charger. Because the cable sits on rails, it will make it easier to pull the cable with one hand to the charging port so ladies won't find it difficult. Much better than current design where the cables are floor placed and at times a bit heavy. Can see there are additional grey panels next to the 'T' shape charger. Suspect this is where the power electronics and batteries are stored.

@Tianmo oei, change tayars liao boh? I note you mentioned Turanza 6 as one of your shortlist. The 235/50/19 from Turanza is a 99V? 99 load rating is in theory 3100kg but is it cutting a bit close? Our factory tayars 103/104 load rating.

Eating out no cheap option like Hawker Centres but restaurant prices I feel is cheaper with bigger portions. Supermarket prices OK with great variety.
