Ever since we made a slight change to our moderation team, You guys have been practising self-policing. And this is what we want to achieve. You guys used the forum, know the rules. 6. Yahoo news: Hunt on for ‘Robin Hai’, chief car smuggler and master of disguise KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 26 — He is the millionaire mastermind of an international car smuggling syndicate whose network spans across neighbouring countries and receives orders from the Middle East and Africa. He is a master of disguise who thrives in the fast lane and has given the authorities the slip over the past six years. His syndicate is believed responsible for the theft of RM400 million worth of vehicles a year. One of the longest manhunts continues with the help of Interpol for Nyo Ah Hai, 49, who has had several identities over the years. He also goes by the name Robin Hai and his last known address is No 78, Jalan Pengkalan Rawa, Nibong Tebal, Penang. Bukit Aman Criminal Investigations Department assistant director of criminal intelligence unit (D4) Abdul Manaf Abd Razak said police only have a picture of him taken in 2007. That picture was released to the media yesterday. “Investigations revealed the suspect adopted different identities to avoid detection. We believe he is in a neighbouring country, living a luxurious life while he instructs his men to carry out the operations. “Even if he had entered the country, we wouldn’t know because of his new identity.” Abdul Manaf said Nyo’s syndicate was involved in almost 80 per cent of stolen four-wheel drives and MPVs, namely Toyota, in the country. “We are trying to locate him and cripple the syndicate responsible for thefts worth about RM400 million a year.” Abdul Manaf said the syndicate’s foreign counterparts would normally relay the type of vehicles they want. Nyo would then instruct his syndicate members to hunt, steal and conceal the wanted vehicles. “Once they have the required number of cars, the vehicles are placed in containers. The syndicate would then forge the documents before exporting the vehicles by sea,” he said. Abdul Manaf said many forwarding agents were also involved with the syndicate. The stolen vehicles were shipped to the Middle East, Africa and East Asia. This year, police recovered 10 vehicles believed stolen by Nyo’s syndicate in Johor and 20 more in Port Klang. Stolen four-wheel drive vehicles are sold at between RM30,000 and RM40,000 while MPVs fetch between RM60,000 and RM70,000. About 35 to 45 cars, 70 motorcycles and 12 vans are reported stolen daily. When come looking for criminal, MY polis states 35 ~ 45 cars, 70 m/cycles & 12 vans are reported stolen daily. But when come to statistics, they are the safest place ....
  7. Our very own "superhero" is going to jail. CNA reporter very sarcastic!! With a name like Batman, one would have thought the 23-year-old man would aspire to do good. But on Monday, the man -- who is actually named Batman Suparman -- was jailed for multiple theft and housebreaking offences. But on Monday, the man -- who is actually named Batman Suparman -- was jailed two years and nine months for multiple theft and housebreaking offences. Batman admitted to six counts of theft, two counts related to house trespass, one for housebreaking and one for drug consumption between June and August this year. The prosecution proceeded on three of the 10 charges. The court heard that Batman broke into SGF Billards & Marketing Singapore at Depot Road in the wee hours of the morning in August, and stole S$200. On other occasions, Batman stole the ATM cards of his elder brother Nurazman Suparman, and made withdrawals totalling S$850. During sentencing, the court heard that Batman is a first offender and a young one at that. For housebreaking, he could have been jailed between two and 14 years. The maximum punishment for theft is three years in jail and a fine. - CNA/nd
  8. Are you a fan of Batman? If so, I believe you have watched the movie 'The Dark Knight Rises', just like I have. Well, in that case, you should be able to recall that there's a vehicle known as the 'Tumbler'. The Tumbler was born as a result of Christopher Nolan, the movie director, wanting something that would look more real, unlike the earlier Batmobiles featured in the movie series. The result was quite an appealing vehicle. Honestly, if only I had the money, I would have ordered one for myself, too! But well, you see, not everyone has such a nice and wealthy life as Bruce Wayne does. Nonetheless, Team Galag - which is participating in this year's Gumball 3000 Rally - has one that looks just like the Tumbler belonging to the superhero most of us have come to love. Team Galag's Tumbler had already been seen 'eating' tarmac, potentially preparing to compete in the rally which is coming to its 15th anniversary. This real life Batmobile counts on a 6.2-litre V8 engine but weighing 2.5 tonnes in total, I won't be surprised to see the Tumbler topping its speed at only 161km/h. Well, it seems that the Batmobile isn't really made for racing, after all. Tumbler - The making of

  10. Being the co-founder of the world's biggest search engine definitely has the potential to give you the financial freedom beyond your imagination. This is what happened to Sergey Brin, the co-founder of Google. As a matter of fact, he should even be able to afford a whole country - though probably not a big one - thanks to his net wealth of around $23 billion. This American scientist - who was actually born in the Soviet Union - also co-owns two units of private jets, complete with NASA equipment on them. He co-owns those jets with the Google founder himself, Larry Page. Yet, what attracts us more this time is Brin's Tesla Model S. Taking into account that Brin is an early investor in the automaker that builds the car and that he also believes strongly in renewable energy, there's no wonder Brin owns the aforementioned car. However, what we do wonder is why Brin would cover his car in pink - he's not Katie Price. Well, it's not that only Katie may own pink covered cars. You know, she's famous for her pink cars, one of which is her pink Range Rover. As it turned out, it was Google staffs that converted Brin's Tesla into a Batmobile of some sort. The car has a Batman logo on it in addition to protruding Batman rear wings and some long eyelashes for the headlamps. Google Chrome logo can also be seen on the weird looking set of rims. The staffs at Google did that to play an April Fool's Day joke on their boss. Fortunately, Brin took the humour in a good way. In fact, he even took the car for a spin! Well, it seems like Brin is quite a humourous person. But that joke would damage Brin's car, wouldn't it? Well, fortunately, the pranksters only used pink vinyl instead of paint to cover the car in pink. With that being said, there is nothing for Brin to worry about as the damage is not permanent and is easy to revert as well. The pranksters also mentioned that they chose Batmobile because they worked at Google's 'X' project division and that they, at Google, often thought of the division as a 'bat cave'. For your information, the Google's 'X' project division is the division in charge of Google's most visionary ideas and products, one example of which is the Google Glass. What a joke at Google it is!

SMLJ Batman to lose son Robin Posted: 27 February 2013 0843 hrs Click to enlarge Photos 1 of 1 A giant image of Batman at the Books and press for Youth fairin Montreuil, outside Paris, France. (AFP/FRANCOIS GUILLOT) inShare NEW YORK: Batman may be able to save the world, but he'll lose his sidekick Robin -- who in his current incarnation as his son -- in the upcoming Batman Incorporated comic book series. DC Comics said the caped crusader's acrobatic young assistant, Batman alter ego Bruce Wayne's son Damian, will die in Wednesday's issue number eight. "This master theme of damaged and ruined families was nowhere more in evidence than in the creation of Damian, the first 'Son of Batman' to be acknowledged in the canon," series writer Grant Morrison said in a statement. "In many ways this has been Damian's story as much as it has been the story of Bruce Wayne and it's a story that had its end planned a long time ago -- for what son could ever hope to replace a father like Batman, who never dies?" The good news for those who might miss Robin is that this is the comics universe and characters who are killed can easily return. Even a previous incarnation of Robin was killed and resurrected before. "You can never say never in a comic book," Morrison told the New York Post. "Batman will ultimately always have a partner." this part best, so his next partner will be like turboflat4 and porker, 20G...died

  20. Please follow this link to BITOG for an analysis on CLTR! Whoopee! Damn! The oil has a TBN of 4.0 after 5k and seems like it will not last very long. Sheared down to a 30wt too! I suggest OCI of around 6-7k no more. The oil was on a Toyota. Now if it behaves like this on a Toyota, imagine it in an Aveo . Wear looks very good though. Just like mine. Like they say in Chinese. Yi fen chian yi fen huo. Seems like the RP 5W20 is good. Next oil change coming up!
