12 months of awkwardness in the New York City Taxi Drivers calendar

All right, so DeNiro probably isn't the first thing you thought of when you saw the image above, but the gent pictured is the real, gritty thing - a New York City taxi driver. Photographers Philip Kirkman and Shannon McLaughlin snapped enough photos of some game NYC yellow cab drivers to create a 2014 calendar that is unintentionally irresistible in ways we can't begin to capture in words. This calendar truly deserves the synonym menology, and if you're quick with your order you might be able to get it in time for Christmas. Priced at US$14.99, all the net proceeds will be donated to NYC's University Settlement that aids working immigrants and low-income families. No, it's not quite Scorsese, but this isn't something you want to miss, so have a gander through the gallery. How else will you know when you're being sped through Midtown by Mr. March? -

Tuning World Bedensee has just unveiled its 2013 calendar, featuring the winner of the tenth annual Miss Tuning beauty pageant, Frizzi Arnold. The photo shoot took place in Helsinki, the Finish capital. "The photo locations in Scandinavia were great and were dressed up with great effort. Everything was there: From an ice-cold igloo hotel to playing with fire. I had a lot of fun and I'm glad that we got some great pictures." said Arnold. Director of the photo shoot is celebrity photographer, Max Steam. He was also responsible for choreographing the 2011 Miss Tuning calendar. The production of the 2013 edition of the Miss Tuning Calendar is only limited to 1,500 copies. It is yours for 25 euros (including shipping) and purchase can be made at www.tuningworldbodensee.de. Spring is upon us, the tress have come back into life (but more to do with rain after a long drought then seasonal changes in the northern Hemisphere) What better time to have a photo shoot. This is intended also as a photographic practice & I hope to improve my skill so do critics. It was shoot on Sony alpha 550 camera on a sunny afternoon at East coast park.

Hi, This thread is carry forward from My Summer Photoshot Preview. The idea of the photo shoot is to give car & photography lovers a chance to gather & practice photography skill, primary in car photography. There is no special requirement for car make, bikers can also join, or photography skill, we are all here to learn. Camera equipment optional. The location is tentatively Seletar. Map of location will be provide soon (in this thread). Tentative timing is Sun 18th July Morning at 9am. (CAn't make it on 18th Evening as I have to study for test on Morning). Alternate timing 1) is Sun 23 July Morning ( at about 9) or 2) Evening (about 4) Tentative Participants are Kiadaw- Myself SK65- pending Krado-Pending lifestyle1881-Pending Any other MCF that wish to join just PM me (mobile & name & forum nick) or can contact me (see below for my phone, insurance & MLM stay away please ). If you can't make it on 18th, suggest an alt time as above. The Meeting will go ahead if 3 or more member can attend, & application close (unfortunately) when it reached 6, on first come first serve basis. If the photo shoot is successful, & we think can accommodate more people, we will try to do so. My contact is 97324164. PM welcome as well. Also any suggestions welcomed. This is for a paid photoshoot which I am willing to pay an appropriate sum for your troubles and time lost. Time and date of shoot is tentative earlier next week and all monetary amounts are to be discussed with me privately. Hi all, Its that time of the year again. Everyone favorite season is back again. like everyone else, I just dug out my pairs of flip flops, & Bermudas. Start eating ice cream outdoor, bbq, going suntan at sunny beaches &.....taking photography of my ride. *note: Strong sunlight is damaging to your skin, & don't go outdoor without some sort of sun protection* Anyway, nonsense aside, Much have change since I shoot my car back in Spring (March), but while waiting to find a new location for the summer shoots, I took these preview pictures after my carwash session, to get a feel of the various angles The background is a bit distracting, as it was taken on a multi storey carpark. Hope you guys like it. Critics welcomed.

Anyone has come across this before??? A photo studio say they giving me a free shoot to raise awareness for their shop, make up and dress provided but they only give me two shots free?? I know there's no free lunch in this world, but seems to be a different from those telling u, u won a prize blah blah blah any bros/sisters got comments or previous encounters, sorry if i sound like i mountain tortise

Dad was on leave today. ho ho. Settled some car issues and installed new reverse sensors and since i was home at 3pm, and why not detail the car again? Since i'm starting school next week already. hehe! Steps today is weird combi to me. Wash > 501 some parts which have stains > Straightaway go to TrackClaw keke > Aquawax over. I got one question to Benny. I have been 501-ing the past 2 weeks and not using any sealant for the car. Today when i wash the car, NO MORE water ball ball. I find it very funny. The surface maciam like never detailed for weeks like that. Water no longer rolledd of the car. Would it be becos 501 is cleaner and doesn't penetrate and close the paint pores? I want back my ball ball!! Pictures! I took it black and white this time. hehe!

As we count down for the MCF photo shoot session this coming saturday, I wonder whether the weather will be good on the day itself. Did a Photoshoot for this Bentley Continental Flying Spur. A very comfortable car, no wonder the hefty price tag. The car itself is very big, therefore quite a difficult and stressful car to drive on the road. Let the pics do the talking, enjoy...

It's me again. Did another photoshoot yesterday, this time with more exciting cars. The photoshoot went on very smoothly, only when unforseen circumstances surfaced which spoilt our mood. And also becasuse of that, i will not post the pics taken at that forsaken place. The red evo 9 and exige went off after the forsaken place shoot, what a pity.. But overall, i would consider it to be successful and enjoyable! What a glorious day.
