  2. I witnessed this accident right in front of my eyes while standing at my office window. The Trailer rammed into the back of the dark blue Mitsubishi Lancer and pushed it for a good 10m into the first lane. Can't tell if it was a lane-switch mistake. See pics.
  3. http://www.thestar.com.my/News/Nation/2015/06/27/Hitandrun-driver-forgiven-Cops-focus-on-the-positives-after-crash/ KUALA LUMPUR: Sporting dark glasses to cover up their blackened eyes, the policemen who were rear-ended by a student in a viral hit-and-run video say they have already forgiven the driver. Kpl Zainal Abu Bee Din and Kpl Nor Alhayari Buyong said they would rather focus on the positi ves that came out of the accident. “We were not badly hurt. We have been injured much worse than this before. Luckily, the boy only hit us and not anyone else. “And we saw how quickly people were willing to help us. One motorcyclist chased after the Volkswagen after he ran and another gave us his video of the accident to help in the investigation,” said Kpl Nor Alhayari, 58. The two Mobile Patrol Vehicle partners were out on their rounds at about 8.55am on Wednesday in an underpass in Jalan Pudu when they were hit from behind by the student in a blue Volkswagen Polo. The student braked for a fleeting second before stepping on the gas pedal, pushing the skidding police car into a concrete barrier before speeding off. “We were totally caught by surprise. We were just talking in the car. I was checking my phone and then all of a sudden, BANG!” Kpl Zainal said. Kpl Nor Alhayari gripped his wheel tighter to stop the car from overturning as the Volkswagen’s hood dug into the bottom of the police car and lifted its two back wheels. Kpl Zainal, 50, was cut in his right eye while his partner hit the dashboard. Despite their injuries, Kpl Zainal was back patrolling the streets on Thursday while Kpl Nor Alhayari hung out in the Dang Wangi police station after being given medical leave. The officers said the student was returning from a night club party the evening before the accident. “He messaged us later that day to apologise, and we both accept. “I did not want to reply to him because you know how people can take what we say and try to make us look bad on the Internet. “So, we just accept the apology and move on,” Kpl Zainal said, adding that the Volkswagen in question had already had three accidents before this. The student was charged yesterday and pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol.

  5. [shakehead] My estate some more but heng for yours truly not the car park I park. Suay for the 10 owners though In this case the 10 owners can only sue the clown via a civil suit for damages as the latter's insurance will not compensate anything right? From AsiaOne: http://motoring.asiaone.com/Motoring/News/...103-393243.html Suspected drink driver rams into 10 cars in Potong Pasir SINGAPORE - A driver believed to be intoxicated rammed into 10 parked cars in a HDB carpark in Potong Pasir early this morning, before falling asleep at the wheel, the Shin Min Daily News reported. The incident happened at about 2.30 am at the car park of blocks 137 and 138 of Potong Pasir Ave 3. According to the Chinese evening daily, the man had earlier drove his car up a kerb and struck a lamp-post before speeding away. But he returned 30 minutes later, after realising that his license plate and bumper had fallen off because of the impact. Said an eyewitness, Mr Wu, 40: "The driver wanted to park his car in a lot, but I don't know how he ended up hitting 7 cars in the process." In an attempt to get away, Mr Wu said the driver knocked into 3 other parked cars. The driver's car ended up wedged in between 2 cars. According to another eye-witness, Mr Tan, 35, the man then got out and pushed the car in a bid to free it. When that failed, he returned to the car and subsequently fell asleep at the wheel, said Mr Tan. Mr Tan added that the police and officers from the Singapore Civil Defence Force arrived shortly after. BMW damaged Said businesswoman Ms Lin, 26, the owner of a BMW which was damaged in the accident: "If only I'd returned home from work later." Ms Lin had arrived home just 15 minutes before the accident. She said she heard a loud noise after she got home and showered, but was too tired to find out what had happened. "I knew something bad happened when I looked out the window this morning and saw that my car had moved," said Ms Lin, who had bought the car less than a year ago. [email protected]
  6. Any MCF bro owners of the damaged Beemer, Volks or Mazda? [bigcry] From STOMP: http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/stomp/sg...ly_divorce.html Posted on 15 Jun 2012 Hubby in ugly divorce rams his Peugeot into wife's car workshop About six months after learning that his wife wanted a divorce after their eight-year marriage, a man drove to his wife's motor workshop in Sin Ming and created a din. He also rammed his Peugeot into three second-hand cars parked there. According to a report in The New Paper, the incident happened on May 7 after Mindy (not her real name) handed her husband, Calvin (also not his real name), divorce papers on October. The couple, both 37, have yet to finalise their divorce. After storming into the workshop in a rage, throwing a chair onto the floor and shouting: "If you want to play, I'll play with you," Calvin then got back into his black Peugeot and rammed a BMW, a Mazda and a Volkswagen, which were waiting to be sold. The damage cost $50,000 to repair. The incident was caught on the workshop's security camera, which also saw Calvin then come out of his car and provoke an employee at the workshop. Mindy called her father-in-law and brother-in-law down to the workshop as she "wanted his family to see for themselves what he was like". Mindy felt Calvin was agitated that she stopped paying for his car's instalments after they broke up, which was bought in the company's name. The company was previously run by the both of them. According to Mindy, Calvin had cheated on her with another woman, while he says he only did so to facilitate their divorce. She also believes her facebook account was hacked by him, and a message saying the company was going bankrupt and would cease operating next month was posted. Calvin also said Mindy had been harassing him at their Balestier home, ringing the doorbell late at night, shouting at him and frightening him and his mother. Mindy then alleged that the locks had been changed and she wanted to collect her belongings. STOMPer Phew-Got commented: "This is a scary divorce story that will probably appear in a soap opera. Surprising that it happened right here in Singapore. "I guess the guy was super angry for some reason, but he still acted too rashly. Being a previous co-owner of the workshop, he would know there were CCTVs installed. "However, I guess he still had some rationale left, else he would have turned violent and either beaten up the employee or rammed him too. "Unfortunately, marriages do go sour, and I guess the longer the couple has been married, the more painful. "Whatever the reason, I hope it gets settled peacefully from now on, with no more adult temper tantrums underfoot."

"Although the wall looks like one of those pre-fab types with a hole in the middle, but still who would drive like this? "The guy walking at the side might just be a passenger... "Plus, anyone know where exactly this happened???"

  10. Instead of stopping when the police told him to, a tattooed man repeatedly slammed his car into the back of a police car at Jalan Berseh on June 9. Next, he drove up the road kerb onto a grass patch just outside a HDB flat and knocked down a road sign and a parked bicycle. In order to subdue and capture the man, the policemen had to break the car's window screen. One witness, Miss Mazrifa Mustafa, who took a video of the incident, told The New Paper: "Various people were holding stools, rocks and bicycles, and trying to throw them at the car, because the driver refused to come out of the car." More in The New Paper on Saturday (June 11). http://www.tnp.sg/content/driver-rams-police-car Nobody posted before right? The driver "wu ji" (got balls)
  11. "My Italian car can beat up your Italian car" is likely the next bumper sticker for one Italian man... after he gets out of jail. According to the Daily Mail, a 32-year old Ferrari 458 Italia driver is in trouble after coming down with a serious bout of road rage. A Fiat 600 would not get out of his way on the roads near Rome, so he did what any insane person would do, and decided to ram the hapless Fiat repeatedly. Once the Fiat pulled over, the unnamed Ferrari driver switched from car fighting to fist fighting and began pummeling the other driver. He wasn't alone, either, as a passenger in the Ferrari aided in the fisticuffs. A passing off-duty cop stopped to break things up and backup arrived to haul the two Ferrari fighters off to jail. After searching the car, police found over $30,000 in cash and are attempting to figure out where it came from. According to the report, neither man is a stranger to the police and they're both in custody for assault, criminal damage and resisting arrest. [source: Daily Mail]

  13. Today whilst visiting my relatives, I was stunned for words when at a multi-storey carpark, I was waiting for a car lot, the car in front of me moved out of his lot and was blocking my way. From that position, he engaged reversed and floored the accelerator, causing the Suzuki Swift Sport to wheel spin and ram straight in to the metal barricade behind. "CRRACCCK!!" That's what I heard. I was so freaked, I reversed away from the scene of madness. I parked my car in another lot and went to observe what happened, the owner was an old guy about 45-50, and he was observing the damage... didn't seemed to be bothered about what just occurred. The damage was a back wheel bent out of shape (there goes the chassis!) along with a huge indentation on the side of the car next the the brake lights, there were bit of orange coloured paint from the metal barricade on the car. I was freaked because in an instance it had reminded me of a scene in the movie, "The Happening" where the driver killed himself on intention accelerating into a tree. I thought it was happening right in front of me like in the movie.
  14. Just bought a laptop. The OEM gave 3Gb of DDR2 667MHz SODIMM RAM. I just read that to fully utilize the DDR2 effect I must have identical pair. So then, I just realise that kenna bluff by this OEM again. So yesterday open the ram cover, remove the 1Gb and slot in a new 2Gb RAM that I bought from Sim Lim. Then I realise that the brands are different though they are same 667MHz. Can I ask for advice if it is necessary to have both rams of from the same brand?
