It's the fact 🤭 Yes, younger children generally have a less developed adaptive immune system compared to older children. While humans are born with a highly reactive innate immune defense, the adaptive immune system—the part responsible for recognizing and remembering specific germs—takes years to fully mature through real-world exposures. [1, 2] The primary reasons for the differences in immunity between younger and older children include: Lack of Immunological Memory: Younger children have had fewer environmental and microbial exposures. Every time a child is exposed to a new virus or bacterium, their body works to create memory B and T cells. Older children have encountered more pathogens over time, meaning they have a larger "library" of antibodies ready to fight off common illnesses quickly. [1, 2, 3] Immature Adaptive Cellular Response: The cellular components of the immune system undergo a gradual maturation process throughout childhood. For instance, children under five have fewer pathogen-reactive memory B cells and distinct T-cell responses compared to older cohorts, reflecting an ongoing development of long-term defenses. [1, 2] Evolutionary Prioritization: Research suggests that from an evolutionary standpoint, a younger child’s body often prioritizes the high energy demands of physical growth and physiological development over building a highly specialized immune system. [1] Behavioral and Structural Vulnerabilities: Toddlers and younger children are physically closer to the ground, more likely to put objects in their mouths, and less practiced in personal hygiene. Combined with a developing respiratory and immune tract, they simply encounter and take in a higher volume of germs. [1]

The Pro Russian MAGA supporters are another breed. They openly repeat Pro Russsian narrative, but ontop of that they create new narrabtives on their to discredit Ukraine.

Vincar to distribute Proton’s first electric vehicle in Singapore
Kookies replied to kobayashiGT's topic in Electric Cars
yes, better change zhun zhun at 12 month mark. Especially those SUVs and MPVs whose 12V battery are in boot instead of the bonnet. Most of us park our cars in reverse in multi storey carparks where the end wall will be in the way of the boot door. I don't think the mobile battery service guy is willing to crawl in through the back seat to replace the battery for you. -

I only know our government have been vocal and active about Ukraine war internationally although we have no clue about their situation. However, we don't seem to be doing the same with the haze. Don't we care more on what is affecting us more?

Just visit any basement car park during peak hours, you will notice it is cooler and less polluted especially those poorly ventilated ones if you notice more EV parked there.

Sanction also no use, unless all the major countries like China, India, USA, etc also sanction which is very unlikely. Even if really sanction, likely we will follow the foot step of EU who buy 3rd party oil and gas indirectly from Russia, and red dot will buy from 3rd party palm oil from China, India, etc indirectly from Indonesia or pay higher price from other sources.
