  2. Hello, I am researching the benefits of running a large radio campaign and I am wondering if anyone here has prior radio advertising experience? My goal is not at all branding, but rather direct sales. I would be directing the radio listeners to my website. So I am wondering how the ROI of radio ads compares to web ads? Does anyone have knowledge of how to purchase and setup a large radio campaign? I went through many resources and checked Advertising Campaign Examples but,I haven't found a clear source for rates and to purchase ads. Any advice? Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.
  3. Calling out to those who had participated in January 2017 ADOGO / AAS 2-month car sticker campaign. Finally got the items stated below 3 months after the campaign ended, after constant follow ups with Adogo. Adogo promised the following prior to the campaign : 1) 1 year AAS membership 2) In-car air purifier 3) $200 retail and F&B vouchers Points 1 & 2 were delivered as promised, but the “$200 retail and F&B vouchers" turned out to be some discount vouchers that were less than half the promised $200 value. 7. Ho hum...at MCF here, we talk abt it almost everyday......thanks to yours truly...muahahahaha Campaign launched to encourage public to talk about death PHOTOS File photo of the Singapore skyline. (Photo: Siti Nur Mas Lina, channelnewsasia.com) ENLARGE CAPTION SINGAPORE: A new campaign, "Die Die Must Say" has been launched to encourage the public to talk about death. To get the conversation going, a special Hokkien rap song will be performed at five getai shows. In addition, organisers Lien Foundation and Ang Chin Moh Foundation are hoping to reach out to those who use dialects through a hotline as well as booklets. Some Singaporeans said they are comfortable to talk about death-related issues with their families. One said: "Yes, I am comfortable, and I want to let them know before I die what they should do for me." Lee Poh Wah, CEO of Lien Foundation, said: "In our recent death attitude survey, we found that there was strongest demand from older Chinese Singaporeans -- those above fifty years old. “Eight-six per cent of them felt that there is a need for a national conversation of death and dying, and 88 per cent felt that they want to know more about palliative care -- in fact that is higher than the national average itself." - CNA/nd consperm ahmok or some wise crack will come in say i advertising and will comprain mod!!! kekekeek
  8. Back to basic of the 70's ......... yahoo news: Nation of kindness courtesy campaign kicks off A nation of kindness starts with one. That's the message of Singapore's latest courtesy campaign which kicked off on Monday. Organised by the Singapore Kindness Movement, the month-long campaign aims to "incorporate graciousness in our daily routines" -- with a particular focus on behaviour on public transport -- through the power of the individual to extend a greeting or helping hand. The end goal? To foster a kind and gracious society. SKM's messages will be visible on public transport and elsewhere on the island, as well as in print and online, to encourage people to take ownership of kindness. Social media users are also encouraged to share kindness stories and photos using #NationofKindness on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. "In working with numerous ground-up movements, I have met many inspiring individuals, many of whom are youths, who give me great hope for Singapore. Their stories deserve to be heard by more people, and will motivate us to do our part to build a more pleasant and liveable home for everyone, " said Dr William Wan, general secretary of SKM. link: http://sg.news.yahoo.com/blogs/singaporesc...-030130695.html Thank You for Reading ....
  9. I am casual smoker myself and I am quite fed-up with all the restriction places they put up as Non smoking area. No smoking at HDB void deck and shelter walkway and housing corridors to whatever place they pleases and don't allowed it. I was like PLEASE!! If the Incumbent of this country don't want every smoker to smoke, then simply just Ban importing of cigarette to our country just like what they did to chewing gum and make smoking an illegal act of activity. Really can't stand them. Wanna create difficulties for the smoker to smoke but yet still wanna hold on to the taxes income revenue they make from the consumer and the cigarette company. I rather they Ban smoking totally in our country and dun be a ku niang lidat and point here & point there and tell the public these are the Non-smoking place. Really can't stand them.

    London launches

The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, has launched a new campaign encouraging Londoners to turn off their engines when their vehicle is stationary for more than a minute. Delivered by the Transport for London (TFL), the campaign urges drivers of all vehicles to switch off their engines when they are parked or when picking up and dropping off people or goods, reducing the amount of unnecessary and harmful exhaust fumes emitted. A study conducted shows that by doing so, CO2 emissions would be reduced by 100 million kg each year. The campaign also highlights the health benefits of reducing pollution levels and that includes preventing and alleviating illnesses such as asthma and heart and lung conditions. In addition, a research revealed that poor air quality contributes to around 4,300 premature deaths in London in a year and affects the quality of life. Some motorists may be concerned that re-starting the engine repeatedly within a short time frame may be detrimental to the vehicle

  24. Home > Breaking News > Singapore > Story Sep 16, 2008 Manners at hawker centres THE National Environment Agency (NEA) is working with the Singapore Kindness Movement to get diners at hawker centres to return their plates, and welcomes fresh ideas to encourage this. Senior Parliamentary Secretary for the Environment Amy Khor said this in Parliament on Tuesday, in reply to a question from Madam Ho Geok Choo West Coast GRC). Last month, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong called on Singaporeans to be gracious about clearing up at food courts. NEA introduced a trial 'Tray Return System' at the Zion Riverside Food Centre in 2003, but discontinued it when most patrons preferred to let cleaners clear their tables, Dr Khor said. When it brings back the scheme, tray racks will be provided at strategic locations at selected hawker centres. There will also be posters, signs, and even officers to advise patrons to return trays after eating. But cleaners will not be deprived of jobs: They will still be needed to make sure that tables are actually cleared. ------------------
  25. MediaCorp kickstarts 'Saving Gaia' green campaign with provocative advertisement By Hoe Yeen Nie, Channel NewsAsia | Posted: 01 June 2008 1646 hrs SINGAPORE: MediaCorp's environmental conservation campaign, 'Saving Gaia', is back for a second year. The green initiative will be launched on World Environment Day on June 5. This time, MediaCorp aims to get even more people involved and challenge viewers with a graphic advertisement. A doll representing our Earth which is in trouble is the message behind the advertisement to promote MediaCorp's 'Saving Gaia' campaign. Shaun Seow, Deputy CEO (News, Radio, Print), MediaCorp, said: "We're trying to deliver a message that's cut through. We think that if it's a very pretty ad on saving the environment, touchy-feely, it might not achieve the same results. "And that's why we've resorted to something a bit more thought-provoking, and hopefully it'll register the impact of what we're doing to the environment." Also making an impact is Channel NewsAsia's 'Saving Gaia' documentary series, which will run from June 16. This year, the programmes will look at how some Asians are solving their most pressing environmental problems. And online, the 'Saving Gaia' website, which will be launched on June 2, invites you to send in your green ideas. You can even submit a video. There will also be a competition to find an eco-hero, who will stand to win S$10,000. Details will be out on June 2. This June, MediaCorp will be going all out to show its support for the environment - from wearing green on-air to having more environment-related programmes Why not mediacorpe walk the talk, turn off aircons in all their studios etc, all staff in beach wear, anchor woman all wear bikinis , stop showing repeating shows etc...
