Any engineers here? Is this still structurally safe to stay? My windscreen was hit by a stone today and developed a "L-shaped" like crack of about 30cm. First such encounter in 13+ years of driving. I intend to claim insurance as free windscreen replacement is covered. Any bros with such experience can advise if there is any other/better alternatives? Like some kind of glass repair, etc. Thanks in anticipation

in your opinion, is it worth it? i was following another car and he suddenly swerve to avoid a huge rock, of course, i cannot react similarly because i was quite close behind. i went over the rock and my rear rim suffered dents and crack. the crack release air that caused my Tyre to be half punctured. the valve also seem to be spoilt because i not cannot pump air at the petrol station. the rim is original chrome advan racing rs 18" x 8" PCD 5x100 with 45 offset. tough luck to find a single rim to replace. i tried altc and another workshop they don't have single ones. replacing all 4 rims seems too expensive especially when i am selling my car soon. attached below are some pictures of the cracks.

Driver's side, found near the accel and brake paddles. Any idea what these are? Car still drives normally. (See attached pics - I have taped them up) Thanks

Hi, Appreciate the help.. I was quoted cost of getting one to one exchange replacement iPhone 4 is $330. How about repair and where to go? I was also thinking just buy protective cover and stick over it since cracks are concentrated at a corner of the screen. Thanks

Hi guys, my workshop told me that my exhaust is cracked and the whole thing needs to be changed. He quoted $260+..Is this a good price? or is there a way to get around it? My inspection is coming soon.. :(

Hi, As above. For no reason! The phone is still under warranty, but general feeling is that Nokia does not cover repair cost of LCD cracking, even under warranty. However, I have heard of a few Nokia phone users who send back their Nokias to NCC and they changed the LCD (if under warranty) for free - but void the warranty after that? Is this true? Any bros here can help? Thanks

Hi bros, My near 3 yrs Honda Fit's rear windscreen was found cracked when I was back home tonight. Called up the police to check and was advised it was not smashed by foreign objects, overheard it's probably a manufacturer fault. I called my insurance and was told I had to pay a $100 + GST for windscreen excess. Called my car agent (who is no longer in this company) and was told this is not under scope of warranty and he mentioned "what can they do? Send to Japan for replacement? More x.." Any advice on what I can do? Thanks! -
Hi bros, Need recommendations on a good workshop that could repair cracked side skirt and spray. I could only think of Lye Design but he don't do spraying. Would prefer to repair cracked and spray at the same workshop with good workmanship and reasonable price. Prefered location East or AMK area.

Hi. I have a cracked right-hand-side wing mirror with LED on my Nissan Latio. I am looking for someone to share the cost to purchase the other side of the wing mirror, since the spare part came in a pair (both left and right). The part will come plain with no spray-paint to your car body's color. The part (left & right) will cost $80.30, I will absorb the $0.30 though. Hence, you will take the left cover for $20. My 92' Swift got hit by a flying rock today, and now there is a rather large round crack on the lower left hand side of the windscreen! It looks pretty bad and a couple of hairline cracks that extend from it are quite long. Is there anyway I can repair or prevent the damage from getting worse instead of having to change the entire windscreen? Brought it to my mechanic and he said for my model, can't get second hand as the glass is siliconed to the frame? Is this possible? Any help greatly appreciated!

omg. omg omg omg. i cracked my screen totally. anyone has any idea how do I retrieve my memos/calendar? does nokiacare provide such service? coz if i'm not wrong they will flush my memory if they replace the screen. I can't see anything at all except rainbow colors.

Help! My rear right tyre's wall is cracked.. All 4s are about 30k mileage. And I really love the PPs. So what are my options now? Change both rear tyres to PP2? Will I be able to find PP? So buy just one to replace? Thanks. Will need to replace it tomorrow...if not too dangerous to drive on road
