  2. Hi all! I have been having RED VELVET cravings ever since I tried the swiss rolls from Rich and Good Cake Shop. Now the thing is it is no longer available there. They used to have the Red Velvet with Cheese Swiss Rolls and they were absolutely delicious and to die for!!! So, to my army of BabyBlade supporters (or so as claimed by ya all), I summon you guys to suss out the best red velvet dessert for me please. Swiss rolls, cupcakes, cakes, cookies, macarons, waffles, ice cream - anything at all! I need my red velvet fix!
  3. Post: https://mothership.sg/2018/12/cake-cutting-ieatishootipost-leslie-tay-singapore/?fbclid=IwAR3FfG0ZyBVQGryIq_XHe-Q6yMro33bWPZrnOoBWQJe9DFZ5x_vIpFmB2Zc So far I've brought birthday cakes to numerous restaurants and yet to be charged for cakeage. The only thing to take note is for halal joints, ensure cake bought externally is from a halal certified bakery. Certain restaurants/cafes selling their own cakes may not allow outside cakes to be brought in as well since it affects their revenue. So... Should customers be charged for bringing in a cake to celebrate after dinner? After all, this means having to provide you with extra plates, fork, and probably an extra 30 mins you'll be spending at their restaurants (possibly affecting their turnover) etc?
  4. Double Chocolate Boudini with grilled bananas with Vanilla Ice Cream The Chocolate Boudini which was embedded with grilled bananas and served with rum and raisin ice cream was like a really good chocolate lava cake that wasn't too heavy. Osia Resorts World Sentosa @ 8 Sentosa Gateway Level 2 Crockfords Tower Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore 098269 Osia’s Hot Chocolate Soup Scoop of black pepper vanila ice cream perched on warm molten chocolate. Also, found some recommendation from http://www.ladyironchef.com/2012/11/best-chocolate-lava-cake-singapore/

  7. Nine choke to death on Japanese New Year delicaciesPublished: 4 January 2015 Naked men in loinclothes pound steamed rice into a mochi, rice cake to celebrate the New Year at the Kanda shrine in Tokyo on January 1, 2015. – AFP pic, January 4, 2015. Nine people have choked to death in Japan after eating traditional glutinous "mochi" rice cakes to celebrate the New Year, an official and local media said Sunday. In Tokyo alone, 18 people were sent to hospital due to suffocation after eating the New Year delicacy, and three of them died, a fire department official said. The Yomiuri Shimbun newspaper said the death toll from rice cake accidents reached nine by Friday across the nation and 13 others were in a serious condition. During the New Year period, one of Japan's biggest holidays, families traditionally cook "ozouni" soup and put the sticky rice cakes in the vegetable broth. The fire department is advising people, especially the elderly and infants, to cut mochi into small pieces before eating it. Every year, several Japanese die after choking on rice cakes. – AFP, January 4, 2015. http://www.themalaysianinsider.com/world/article/nine-choke-to-death-on-japanese-new-year-delicacies

  9. Bangladeshi caught trying to rape cow By Ben Tan and Mohamed Farid Noh | [email protected] BATU PAHAT: The Parit Sulong community here are shocked with recent news that a man attempted to have "sex" with a female cow at a palm oil plantation near here. The man, identified as a Bangladesh national in his late 30s, was caught with his kain pelikat up to his waist in a comprimising situation with the year-old cow by the latter's owner when he went to check on his cattle last Monday. The cattle's owner then gave chase and caught the suspect who was then handed over to the authorities in the 5.30pm incident. It is learnt that the suspect, who works in a furniture factory nearby, was believed to have attempted similar unnatural acts to cattle in the vicinity about six-months ago but was let off with a warning by villagers. Cattle owner Sukiman Ab Majid, 54, said he was curious to see why one of his cows was pushed-over and had its legs tied by an unidentified man during a routine inspection. "What shocked me next was that the suspect, wearing a t-shirt with his kain pelikat above his waist, was attempting a disgusting act with the cow," he said when met today. Sukiman said he immediately gave chase and apprehended the suspect in some nearby bushes before alerting the police. He added that a similar incident had occured to a cow belonging to another cattle owner within the same area about six-months ago. "In that incident, a female cow was found dead after it suffocated on some ropes and was believed to have been "raped"," he said. Meanwhile, Batu Pahat police chief, Assistant Commissioner Din Ahmad said the suspect is in custody and have been remanded pending investigations. "We (police) are investigating the suspect's motive as the cow was found to have all its legs bound. However, police can only charge the suspect for tresspassing on private property as he was not caught having unnatural sex with the animal. "Investigators will be looking at all angles as six-months ago there was a similar case in the area where a cow died due to suffocation after being allegedly "raped" but the owner did not lodge a report with us," he said. http://www.nst.com.my/latest/bangladeshi-c...pe-cow-1.219573 Holy Cow.

  13. So chio bu saliva is the secret to delicious pastries! STOMPer eeleen was disgusted by this cake shop employee who was seen swiping off excess cream filling from cookies she was preparing and then licking them off her fingers. Said the STOMPer: "I was with my nephew decorating a cake at The Icing Room at Jurong Point yesterday (Nov 27) when I saw this really disgusting employee filling cookies with cream. "She was swiping off excess cream from each cookie with her bare fingers and then licking them off, before handling more cookies and filling! "She did this for the entire tray of cookies which were to be for sale later! "I also noticed that the other employees of this bakery were handling ingredients like fruit with their bare hands instead of using gloves. "This is very unhygienic and I don't think I will ever go back to that bakery again for cookies and cakes they prepare." Video here
