For Mercedes, we can find parts from Gallop, or Benzline. For BMW, we can get parts from Eng Soon. How about Audi?

Anyone know where in Singapore can buy "half" size temp spare tyres. Or anyone has one and want to sell? e.g. those who upgrade to full size spare or those who prefer to save weight and get rid of the spare. Am interested in this specific size: 145/90 D16 or 145/90 R16 (which is actually the same size). Nowadays, many new cars don't come with spares. Am thinking of a half-size spare just in case (esp. for trips to Malaysia). -

Hi All. Newbie here and this is my first time posting. Just want to know where can i get spare parts for this car (refer to topic header). I know body looks like the Perodua Kembara. But this car is using mitsubishi engine and not daihatsu. 4G18 engine if im not mistaken. Any parts that we can substitute if in case can't get oem parts? Please please please reply. Thank you.

Today i got an itching feeling to pump my spare Tyre. The car was bought new 5 years, and i never touch the spare Tyre. Who does anyway? Took out everything from the boot, lift up the cover and took a look at the spare. Press the rubber, it's damm soft. haul out the entire Tyre and start pumping. The machine read just 40 kpa when i inserted the nozzle into the valve! Imagine i got a Tyre puncture and i had to use the spare Tyre. No way i can drive with a 40 kpa Tyre...... So don't forget your spare, especially you go into msia frequently........

Hi, any idea if removing of spare tyre compromises on the structural safety of a car? some people says if the spare tyre comes stock with the car, removing the spare tyre will actually makes the car crample more when other car hit from behind, therefore the spare tyre act as some form of "cushion" for rear seat passengers. Some says this is especially important for hatchbacks. Any expert views on this? I have almost not used the spare tyre for past 5 years, eversince i bought a portable pump in car, flat tyres are always pumped up and driven to tyre shop immediately to mend tyres. so am thinking of removing the spare tyre to free up the bootspace. any advice?

Hello everyone, For people with full size spare tires, please check your spare tire's pressure periodically, say every six months. I checked mine earlier this week, the pressure has dropped to an unusable 150 kPa (1.5 bar or 21.8 psi); I only pumped it to 250 kPa about a year ago. Further, mine was already more than five years old; while it has never been mounted on the car before, I decided to change it this morning, as it would have suffered from rubber deterioration. Unless one has X-rays' eyes like Superman to inspect the tire's internal structure, one would not know if the steel radial cords and the rubber have lost their bonding and the tire's structural integrity is compromised and therefore unusable. A five year old tire should not be put in service, regardless of tread wear and usage pattern. Some may think it is a waste of money to change your spare tire which one hardly use; if you just drive in Singapore and distances are very short (50 - 100 km), I think it is OK to use your old spare tire and drive to your usual tire shop for repair and replacement. However, if you travel to Malaysia sometimes, I think a functional spare tire (full size spare or temporary spare) or tire repair kit is important, so that your mobility and safety are not compromised. Drive safely, regularly maintain your vehicle and you would enjoy many years of safe motoring.

Recently I patched one of my flat tyre twice but still leak. I know its not advisable to replace one tyre, so decide to replace the two and find a rim to keep the good one as spare (since my spare is the smaller rim type and its quite old liao) The two tyre manufacture yr 2012. Went to a well known shop, whose name frequently appear in this forum, ask them got a used steel rims they said have but need to come back to collect another day because rim is at another store. The mech say can replace my tyre first and leave it at the workshop and when fix the spare rim they will call me to collect it. So I did, got replace a set of 2012 new tyre, but next morning call me say their store don't have my spare rim. See bay too lan! I went down to collect my two old tyre, give the flat one to another tyre collection center. Now got two spare in trunk, one without rim. See bay bay song. See alot of ppl go there, but they so unprofessional, how can do this. Lim peh dead dead must take back the old tyre they sell used one also, can tell me customer trade in. Basket how to trust the shop like that! Will never go back to them again, me goondoo one time enough liao! By the way anyone know where can get a used rims? When to ask around a few workshop all don't sell or not interested. Maybe try scrap yard. I know defu lane have scrapyard anyone when there to get spare parts? Would appreciate the info, definitely will help cool the steam down.

Need some advice here coz yesterday I just changed the tyre from my spare. So what do i do now? 1. Go and change the punctured tyre and keep the spare back into the boot 2. Keep driving until it is time to change all 4 3. Change all 4 tyres and keep the spare back
