A friend of mine was asking. For those kids who are below 21 and took up SG citizenship, they are not allowed to renounce their MY citizenship until the age of 21. I wonder will they be picked to do MY's NS or not..... Since we are also in the same situation, I'm curious to know too... Anybody has such experience?

SINGAPORE: Police have arrested two youths, both aged 13, in connection with a robbery case at Tampines Central. On 3rd June, at about 4pm, a young victim was playing at the arcade when the two suspects confronted him. They allegedly took the victim's wallet containing two game cards and a bunch of keys before fleeing. With the help of CCTV footage, officers from the Tampines Neighbourhood Police Centre arrested one of the suspects on Wednesday evening. err something come to mind about signing CON-tract and get mobile phone..... take for example the upcomg S4... lets say retailing at $998 If one were to buy without CON-tract, one pay $998 divide by 24 months= $41.58 per month over 24 months But if one were to sign the basic plan @ $38 per month and get the phone at $599.... then one pay $38 X 24 months + $599= $1511 divide by 24 months CON-tract= $62.96 per month over 24 months...... Every month pay extra $21.38 for 24 mths= $513..... Can get another phone....

LINK Explain when train's emergency button can be used ON TUESDAY night, I was taking the south-bound MRT train towards Ang Mo Kio. At Yio Chu Kang station, a woman asked for help in a desperate tone, then pressed the emergency button on the train. I realised that an elderly man had his arm caught between the train doors. The doors did not re-open after the usual few seconds, and his arm was stuck for about a minute. When the doors did open, the old man entered the train and was unharmed. However, an SMRT staff member came and demanded to know who had pressed the button. When the woman owned up, he asked in frustration: "Why you press the button?" Later, when the train stopped at Ang Mo Kio station, the woman was detained and further questioned. Thankfully, another man stood up for her. When is the right time to press the emergency button? If someone gets caught between the train doors, are we supposed to wait until the train starts moving before we press the button? Perhaps SMRT can clarify the protocol for using the emergency button.

While waiting for my chance to enter the main road, I m being knocked from behind by a taxi in the morning. Things to note: At the time of accident, I thought there isn't anything about it. So I only got him phone number when I left. After parking the car, I called him back and he answered and cooperated by giving me his details so I can start a claim if you want. He pleaded to settle outside and even ask me to go back authorized work shop to get a quote rather than go to some car repair shop in ubi to get it one. By noon, he even chased me to get a quote so that he can settle ASAP. Car condition: Unnoticeable damage. Unless you are 15cm away under strong light, else you cannot see the dent. Slight paint chip. What will you do? 1) claim insurance. Change bumper + rent car for 3 days while it is in workshop 2) accept a $1000 compensation and u settle urself. Even if u decide to do nothing, he will still pay. 3) let him go n forget about it. Here is a person trying to repent, should I give him a chance by going option 2or 3. By going option 1, the claims will be at 8-10k. I am sure he will kena demerit point and affect his taxi career.

What compensation and redress can I seek besides medical bill? Bought from them at 7pm yesrterday evening. Consumed at 10pm. Acute stomach cramp and vomiting at 1am this morn. Why don't HDB in the first place develop the whole vacant area either for BTO or DBSS? Sianz.... Just went to fetch my daughter from church camp and kena red light traffic camera along Lornie Road toward BKE ramp. It's pitch dark at that area and I underestimated the distance from the stop line when it turned amber. Did some check and I suppose 200 bucks with 12 demerit point can't escape liao. One question is, will be charged at court or not har?

hi All, kindly advise me.... i get hit from behind. The small dent is just in front of my signal light. The offender bring me to his workshop yesterday, and was quoted $120. The guy promise to transfer the money to my account, but did not until now. How do i proceed to make insurance claim from him? I do not want to swallow this repair cost. thanks & regards

Didn't have the time to attend the rallies of both parties. Hence youtube is the best alternative for me to obtain a quick update.
