  1. Since aliexpress is a website for all kinds of merchants selling stuffs, you are bound to meet a bad one, like ebay. Aliexpress offer buyers protection, but their protection is quite useless if you don't monitor each and every purchase carefully. Since shipping always takes a long time, get delayed or go missing, you have no idea, but wait. Then the protection runs out and your "protected" money is gone. Unless you track your purchase everyday and make a dispute before it ends. Or else good luck to you. When I make a complaint to aliexpress, they tell me to buy from seller with good reputation. Well, this one has "good" reputation, but when things go wrong, the shipment ended up returned to them, they have so far refused to return my money after repeatedly messaging them. I've considered my money lost due to unscrupulous seller. The seller is AUTO SUPPLIES SHOP Store No.521062 Do not buy any items from them, unless you want to test water with your money.

  6. Hey peeps just to warn you guys about the U-turn at Lornie Road towards AMK/Bishan/Toa Payoh/Upper Thomson. Yesterday I almost got into an accident and I'm sure there were a few others who shared the same sentiments. At around 6.30pm, I was happily travelling at 80-90 km/h on lane 2 along this route and suddenly a lorry emerged from the U-turn. The manner in which he did the U-turn was slow and it took up 3 lanes altogether! And all these happened for at least 5 seconds. The Merc on lane 1 which was travelling around the same speed had to come to virtually a stop as well as a few others, including me. I could smell the rubber being burnt and I'm very sure some vehicles applied emergency brakes to avoid collision with this lorry. To the lorry driver, please don't be so inconsiderate. Do not think that by getting a Bangladesh to stick out his hand out of your lorry we must all stop for you. To the rest, please be warned along the stretch of Lornie Road near this U-turn.
  7. Hi folks, Be sure to drive safely during rainy weather and avoid travelling beside heavy vehicles. Practive defensive driving. My experience last week...

  12. Any bros watched the HK movie 窃听风云 (OVERHEARD) starring 古天乐 Louis Koo? Am no IT/surveillance expert and thought the part where they claimed they were able to eavesdrop via our smart phones to any conversation near to it as long they get hold of the phone number was some fantasy until I read this article. So the next time you wanted to about your boss or company in the office to your co-workers, think twice... [sweatdrop] From ST Sunday Times: http://www.straitstimes.com/BreakingNews/S...ory_773579.html Office gadget spyware gaining in popularity Published on Mar 4, 2012 By Siau Ming En The spy mouse, modified from an ordinary one, takes a SIM card. It requires only a phone call to activate it and all sounds within a 10m radius can then be heard. -- PHOTOS: COURTESY OF SGSPYCAM.COM Here's a reason for you to watch what you say at work: That innocent-looking mouse on your desk could be transmitting your conversations to your boss. Same with the thumbdrive. Spyware has made its way into offices, and it has gone beyond hidden cameras. The 'spy mouse', a modified version of the ordinary gadget, becomes a listening device with an embedded SIM card. All it takes is a phone call to that number to activate it. All sounds and conversations within a 10m radius of the mouse can then be heard by the caller. BACKGROUND STORY While there are no privacy laws in Singapore, a spyware user could breach encompassing laws, such as that regarding confidence. 'If confidential information is accessed without permission, by improper acquisition, then the courts may protect such information,' said Mr Bryan Tan of Keystone Law Corporation. Sellers say there is a healthy market for such spy equipment.

  18. Wow really have to be careful if you go to Malaysia stadiums to watch games there. Not a soccer fan so not sure if local fans behave like that to rival fans. Hope not.... From STOMP: Grow up lah: Childish Liverpool brutes humiliate guy for wearing Man U jersey A horde of Liverpool fans forced a young man to take off his Manchester United jersey when he went to Malaysia's National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur to watch Liverpool's training session during the team's Asian tour. A video of the incident, which happened on Jul 14, was posted on the Internet. It shows hundreds of Liverpool fans taunting the Manchester United fan, forcing him to remove his jersey and even tried to make him wear a Liverpool jersey. The young man refused and sat down topless. STOMPer Liver Fools, who saw the video, says he is disgusted by the behaviour of the Liverpool fans. He said: "To all Liverpool fans who think this is funny, let me just say that the behaviour of your so-called comrades is a disgrace to the beautiful game of football. "The Man U guy may be a moron for wearing the jersey to a Liverpool training session, but the Liverpool fans prove that they are nothing more than a bunch of barbaric, juvenile, low-class brutes. "Even with his stupidity, the Man U fan at least have the guts to confront hundreds of Liverpool fans wearing his Rooney jersey, which is more than I can say for the Liverpool ruffians who acted tough only because there are many of them. "Grow up, Liverpool fans! "I wonder if Liverpool fans in Singapore would behave the same way." Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has commended his fan for his courageous stunt. The football star's Twitter message read: "The lad who went to watch Liverpool train in mufc top with my name on the back is a legend." According to news report, the Manchester United fan had been showing off his jersey, kissing the Man U badges and shouting "champions" at the Liverpool fans.
  19. This topic is with regards to the latest hot topic about voiding of insurance claims JUST FOR LAUGHS Now pretend I work for insurance company and I am a top top top top top laywer, I may draft this terms and conditions: After the the accident, the driver may be asked to do a blood test to prove that he is not in a at least 90% state of clear mind due to the food or drink he takes, therefore completely voiding his claims as food like chili and drinks like coffee may cause him to over react and swerve the car or cause him to misjudge a traffic condition. We will get the best scientist to prove it in the laboratory so even our govt also cannot do anything. If the clothing you wear may cause itchiness and redness in the skin althouh only temporarily because those are new clothing, insurance will be void as you may be spending more time scratching than holding on to the steering wheel, therefore causing that accident. if your socks are skin sensitive type, don't worry our scientist will prove it that you may not be stepping fully on the brakes moments before you hit the car in front, therefore we will void your insurance. For women driver, we will check your menstrual cycle to prove that you are having PMS or menstrual cramp and you had not taken sufficient medicine to reduce the symptons, therefre completely voiding your insurance as you are not in the correct state of mind to drive the car. We only insure 99% sane drivers. For drivers above 45, we will try our best to prove that you are sffering from menopause and you had not gone for hormonal treatment, therefore it may affect your mood and judgement on road conditions, therefore we are please to void your policy. However if you wish to have your treatment done by injecting hormone into your body, you can purchase our motor insurance and hormonal restoration treatment in one package. If all the above fails, we will use the last resort, we will check your ancestor history, probably get the warrant to dig up the burried or open up the ash urn to collect samples and hopefully to prove that your family line has a higher tendancy to cause accidents and you have a certain gene defects that may trigger moments before an accident. We will get the best Nobel Prize winners and Scientist to prove it. In this case, your premium should be higher than others. In view of this, you are short changing us by a few percent of your premium. Since premium is not fully paid and you have a pre existing condition, we will void your policy. Since you did not declare whether directly or indirectly about your family history, we reserve the right to prosecute you in any country within the solar system and not restricted to the milky way galaxy, preferrably at the Republic of Avivocity. I think I can be a lawyer and work for insurance company and many people will curse me. Luckily I am not!

  21. Hi all. I just want to warn those here who buy stuff from Seng Hup scrapyard in Woodlands Indl. Pk.E near Markcool. I changed my distributor 3 times & it is still no good. I think he sells the crappy parts from >20 year old SG cars that r being scrapped. Most of the other scrapyards only sell those parts from Japan scrap cars which r about only 3 years old.
  22. Guys, Pls drive carefully and do not speed while exiting ECP from City to Still Road/Marine Parade. The angle of this slip road is very bendy and there are a lot of blind spot in front of this slip road (traffic jam from MP Rd/ Still Rd junction, taxi stopping illegal at the side road or even vehicle broken down) For the past 4yrs staying at the block next to it, I have been witnessing many incidents at the same spot, same location. Recent incident was early this morning, I was rudely awaken by a loud bang ard 430am when it started to drizzle. I peek out the window and saw a van turned side-ways, blocking the whole slip road. A month ago, another car skidded and hit the railing at the same spot. One year ago, another car faced the same fate. Sometimes in the middle of the night, can hear those crash-wannabe driver zooming their vehicle exiting this slip road.
  23. Esp. if you are turning left into the 99 bends. I was going up the slope this even and lost control of my vehicle there. Reason is I was keeping too close to the barriers and is very sandy with lots of gravel too. Luckily, managed to catch the car to preven a 360 spin but the snap back causes my front to take out a few barriers......lol.... Apart from some scratches and chunk of paint chip from my front bumper, nothing else was damaged. Heng.... Killer debris man....
