Hi Fellow Members, I'm helping a relative appealing to those with healthy dog less than 6 years old, weighing 25kg and above to donate blood. Her dog by the name of Baby (Black Scottish Terrier) is going for operation to remove spleen at Mount Pleasant @ Gelenggang. The clinic do not have enough blood and the operation requires blood transfusion. The blood testing will start at 8.30am tomorrow (1/10/14). Hi all, driving a CS3, IU still working this morning, but now there is no display and no green light. Anyone know where the fuse is? IF IU is faulty, where to get it fix? LTA? LTA open in weekend???

seen my friend proton with front lowering spring and rear stock spring setup and he told me that it is much more comfortable than lowering spring alone.... he is using stock absorber with aftermarket spring.... he did it not long ago so there is not much feedback on the negative side to such setup. I'm very tempted to do the same... with my lowering spring, I'm always worry during reverse parking, crossing the hump and when I carry passenger at the rear... but I have a few concenrn as below: from what i believe, the front suspension is more stressed compare to normal lowering spring setup cos more weight is transfer to the front, thus, I have to expect higher wear n tear on my absorber. This problem is not too bad cos i have another 3 set of stock front absorber to standby for such problem and the labour cost of changing the absorber from my Mal lobang is too cheap to be true (RM30) so i dun really care about it.... look wise, some plp might think that it looks weird but I like the way it looks cos it make the ride more fierce... now come to my major worry... the braking issue and stability/handling... on stock, the front brake is responsible/absorbing of 70% of the braking stress, will such setup create even more stress to my front brake? will it affect the performance on my overall braking? I'll be adding 1 set of spring stiffener to reduce such problem... but, will it help? As for stability /handling issue, anyone foresee any problem in this area? will the handling/stability of the ride become worst than stock? -

Anyone know where to get supercharger oil in Singapore ? Its for a friend's Mini Cooper S. Seems real hard to find locally. I ordered some from Amazon but shipment is late and it is needed urgently as the supercharger is off the car and re-assembly can't start. Any help appreciated. Thanks !

I'm really very unlucky to get into an accident on 27/10/15 ( Tuesday) at about 6.50pm after exiting the Bedok exit from ECP towards Changi. At the junction of Marine Parade Road and Bedok South Ave 1 (right after the ECP exit to Bedok), a lorry knocked off my left side view mirror and sped off. I stopped at the accident spot but the lorry continue driving away. As I could not see the lorry's licence plate clearly, I decided to speed over to stop his lorry. I did so but he insisted that he was right and didn't know he knocked my car although I have horned at him before and after he hit me. Maybe I should have just stayed put at the accident spot and called the police? Now, I believed it's his word against mine. Very sad... Are there any kind folks here or people you know who happened to witness this accident and captured it on his/her car camera? If yes, can you please pm me? Hopefully I can get the footage and it can be used for my insurance claim. Thanks a lot! *Thought of installing a car camera next month as a birthday present for myself but now it's too late... Hi all, Seeking Witness for Car accident along WEST COAST ROAD (AFTER JALAN MAS KUNING) The accident happened just outside Jalan Mas Kuning towards West Coast Road. Accident happened on 24/02/2015 08:45 I drive a small black Nissan Sunny and the other car involved is a Silver Mercedes who is now suing me for compensation of his luxury car. Due to the lack of integrity of the driver, I am now in urgent need of a witness. If you could refer to the sketch plan below, i was heading straight on the left side of the two lane road. The mercedes was on the right. The traffic light was amber, turning red. Guess the Mercedes driver could not brake in time, decided to trade sides with me instead of ramming into the lorry as shown in the second picture. Reason as to why i waited till now to seek assistance, wanted to drop the case as my car only has 9 months left. And the guys from my insurance company assured me that its a 50/50 case. Did not want to affect my Premium nor NCD. However recently just received a report stating that the other guy wants to claim against me. So wanted to see if anyone could assist me. Please, if you witnessed the accident, I am asking for your help to provide me with your testimonial. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

My 2005 Mitsubishi Grandis had gearbox problems and was confirmed by X431 Diag Report (code 001: 44 4th not syncromesh and code 002: 42, 2nd not syncromesh). At slow speed especially in morning difficult to drive due jerks, but once speed picks up seems to be ok. But I guess it is not safe to drive. The car has 10 more months to go before COE expires. Do you all have any suggestions - to repair or scrap? How to maximize returns at this point? Thank you.

Guy need urgent advises. My wife got into an minor accident, so we send the car to paintshop for respray. A frd recommended a paintshop at pioneer(not disclosing names here), today upon collecting the car, my wife found out that her touch n go card is missing. As we only use it while going to msia, she dint bother to take out,it was at the card compartment,those driving fiat punto should know.(dont flame me now, i know we r stupid to have left it there). She confronted the painter but all denied,she had no choice but to leave. As soon as she called me about this incident,i immediately call the boss,told him the whole situation and wanted my card back,i gently tell him its theft and we are recommended by a frd,we even took a photo of the finger prints with paint stains inside the compartment and that he needsnto check and confront his workers. End up he challenge me to call police, investigate on the prints and boasted he got a full viewed CCTV. We are not happy, its only a mere rm60 in the card, but its totally not right to take anythiNg away from my car and still walk away like this! Pic that i took

Needed some serious advise because I had some very bad experience with an accident last year. My car was knocked from the back and after viewing around, we verbally settled for $200. But the guy said he dont have the cash now and is going back to Malaysia and will transfer the next morning. We exchanged contacts and personal details and left the scene. After stopping (about 2-3 hours later) and further checking, i realised that i have difficulty opening my car boot and then immediately SMS the guy not to transfer me money as the cost should be much higher. I also mentioned that i will send to car workshop the following morning to access the damage and will let him know the cost of repair first and see if he still wants to private settle or claim insurance. I even tried to call him but there was no answer (assuming he is in Malaysia). At the car workshop i tried to call him and still no answer so i texted him the repair costs and gave him an hour or so to reply or else i will claim insurance. Times up and i proceed to claim insurance and accident report (without highlighting about the private settlement portion). A few months after i gotten back my car, the workshop called me and told me something like the other party did not report the accident because he has already done private settlement of $200 on the next day after the accident. Then i explained the private settlement part to them and forwarded the text messages as proof. I even went to the extent of getting the date / time of the $200 transfer and it was long after i message him the cost of repair. All this while, there were no calls or sms from this guy and i didnt check my bank account untill i got the call from the workshop to verify the transfer. After a few weeks, i received some lawyer letters asking for my actions to proceed with 'writ of summons' against the other driver as well as a cheque payment ($200) back to the owner. They also indicated that in the event that the writ of summons failed, i will need to pay the workshop all the repair costs as well as some fees (about $5k+). Being reluctant to be put to such risks, i explained my situation to them via email and did not consent on the writ of summons portion because the accident is clearly not my fault and only sent back the cheque to them. I also tried writing to my insurance for assistance but there were no response or advise at all. Several months passed and i recently received a letter stating that the law firm is discharging me from this case. About 2 weeks later, i checked my mailbox and saw a letter from another law firm representing my workshop and they are claiming the costs against me. The letter was dated 21 Jun and i have 7 days to act but i only opened my mailbox on the 30 Jun (Sunday). I have written an email to the law firm explaining that i only saw the letter on Sunday and hope they can give me a week extension for consideration. So now i am totally stuck on what i can or should do next. Pardon the above long story but is there any advise from anyone please ? Regards.

Hi all, I would like to seek ur help with regards to indecent act.. My low iq uncle was arrested this afternoon for indecent act. We know is indecent act is becos police inform us just now when we went down. The problem is he does not know our numbers and his hp was surrendered to the officers. When we went down(out of gut feeling), we were surprised to know that my uncle was already charge in court and the hearing is tmr. We kept calling io and there was no ans from him. Anf when we ask the police officer at d station of the io whereabouts, they just told us that he is not around. And they said that my uncle casr is still investigating. Now i'm really confuse of the sop.. How can an ongoing investigation be charged in court?? Please help... After all this, i will shoot an email or go press about this.

Hi all, Incredibly, my wife had just now lost our car key together with the remote control for STW 1000. She lost the one with the LCD display, and we still have the other smaller remote control and a spare key. The danger is of course if someone finds the key/alarm, that person can simply unlock and drive away the car. Is there any way to reprogram the the remote and the car, so that we can continue to use the smaller remote control, while rendering the lost LCD useful? Is it necessary to change the car's lock/key as well? tks. -

Must use a lot of force to engage. Any brothers experienced the same thing before? What is wrong? Where is good, honest, reliable workshop to troubleshoot/repair manual transmission/clutch problems?
