  1. Voice001.mp3I heard this song sing live in RWS and like it alot. Hopefully someone know the song title and singer. Thanks muchie.
  2. I watch a documentary on cable and it's about WW II events. In one part, they were talking about how Germans attempted to march into Russia, Stalingrad, to invade Russia. At that time, Germans were mighty in their equipments and hardwares. i was shocked to learned from the documentary that the Russians started to train dogs to be like modern-day terrorists. They will train the dog to find food under tanks and vehicles, then they will starve the dogs to hunger. Then they stapped bombs to the dogs' bodies and they lie in ambush for the Germans tanks to come. Once the tanks are in sight, they will release the dog, the dog will run towards the tank, and the bombs will be ignited; disabling the tank, and the poor dog is blown to pieces. I search through internet and wiki also mentioned this technique used by the Russians http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-tank_dog So now, we cannot blame the Chinese for being cruel by eating dog meat, the bloody ang mo Russians are far worse than them. The bloody Americans also tried to use dogs during war, to bring bombs to the enemy's bunkers...........

  5. Yahoo News 18 Chinese nationals jailed over fake degrees For their involvement in a fake degree scam, at least 18 foreign workers from China were sentenced earlier this week to jail in Singapore for four weeks each. The workers had been found by a local court to have provided forged certificates to obtain work passes to work for T Y Enterprise and Sun Blues Cleaning Maintenance. A spokesman for the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) said that while another 10 workers from China will be charged with similar offences on Thursday, another nine are being repatriated after being served with warning letters
  6. Over the past few days where i had many errands to run all over singapore, i realised that there are more and more young chinese girls wearing super tight spagetti strap tops and super short shorts... are young chinese girls getting more liberal? i also realise that there are more and more malay young girls wearing the malay cloth like bandana on their head (dont know the name). are young malay girls getting more religious? but they are all subjected to the same singapore education so why the difference?

  10. KUALA LUMPUR - Concerns in the occurrence of a racial riot in the Bersih 2.0 assembly is increasing tremendously in the remaining 48 hours before it is held. Although it is participated by various races in a same group (Bersih), however history has shown how a situation is capable to become racial as a result of actions by interested parties who want to see mayhem in this country. Relating his experience during May 13 1969, Ex-Servicemen Association of Malaysia (PBTM) chairman, Datuk Muhammad Abdul Ghani said, his party is disconcert there are parties of communist ideology ‘netting in muddy waters’ this Saturday. “I still remember there were Chinese people who blew up a petrol station owned by a Chinese entrepreneur, in the end the Malays were accused and from there a racial riot started although eventually the truth surfaced, however it was too late,” he said when contacted by mynewshub.my. What is more concerning is when there are parties identified as still having communist ideology and enthusiasm in this country, although the leftward armed force have laid weapons long ago. “It is feared they will use this Bersih assembly for personal purposes, in an uncontrolled and free situation which could cause one party or race to feel angry and retaliate until it triggers tension,” he explained. Commenting further, he said, sometimes sincere intentions by some parties for everyone’s benefits will be sabotage by other parties especially from outside to succeed their personal agenda. Hence, he ask all parties involved in the assembly to take preventive action as best as possible so the same event would not reoccur. FROM http://mynewshub.my/2011/07/07/bersih-2-0-...xposed-to-risk/

  14. Hi all, Need to ask experts where can I find in Singapore an ICE shop that sells Alpine W502e HU which supports chinese characters. I understand that local sets do not display chinese characters and I have a large collection of chinese songs in my iPod and hate to see the words "no support". I don't mind without warranty and I believe those imported from Hong Kong can do the job.

  16. Simply Audacious! SINGAPORE: A Chinese national on trial for the murder of a taxi driver, told the High Court on Wednesday he was "not terribly frightened" when he tried to remove evidence after allegedly killing the man. Wang Wenfeng, 32, had originally claimed that he was very frightened after the alleged murder of taxi driver Yuen Swee Hong, 58, in April 2009 following a botched robbery attempt. Wang then allegedly dumped the body on a hill. When questioning Wang, Deputy Public Prosecutor Eugene Lee noted that Wang, despite being frightened, was still able to wipe off blood from the taxi and even snipped off wires from a card reader to avoid being detected. Wang said he was "not terribly frightened". He had wanted to look for the taxi's Global Positioning System (GPS) machine but mistook the card reader for it. He later demanded S$150,000 from Mr Yuen's wife as ransom. DPP Lee asked Wang about his intention for bringing a knife out that day. In response, Wang said: "To commit robbery, you have to bring a knife
  17. Having read so many good things from DriftKing about his A168, would like to know from fellow forumers or Chinese car owners on whether they encounter any good or bad experiences with their cars? For the price you are paying is it worth the trouble, if any, etc. I am just trying to understand and prepare, if necessary, myself should the Chinese car dominance prophecy do come true. So far I have read some bad news from other forums like poor fc, boot cannot open, car "dies" going up slope, etc... Just for discussion sake. 19. Fm Straits Times forum. Unpleasant Chinese New Year on the road I WAS travelling along Hougang Central towards Hougang Avenue 10 at about 4.50pm last Thursday when an SBS Transit bus suddenly swerved into my lane. Fortunately, I was able to stop in time and there were no other vehicles behind me. Without consideration for other road users, the bus driver had swerved into my lane because he was trying to pass a taxi that had stopped on his. At the next traffic junction, he proceeded to shout at me and challenged me to lodge a complaint. Is this the proper attitude for someone who works for a public service provider? Phay Teck Jin Buses these days, ever since the ruling on give way to buses, these arse holes anyhow chut pattern. Personally, I swerve back into the farker's lane and stop then move off slowly.
  20. Happy new year guys, Need a little help here. Any tyre shops open these few days? Need to get my tyre change before it goes flat as it is already out of shape now. Thank You, Best Regards
  21. Chinese mistresses jump into the river for BMW ANN - Friday, January 7Send IM Story Print Beijing (China Daily/ANN) - Two 25-year-old women who shared the affections of the same man in Jinan, Shandong province, China, jumped into the Yellow River in the hope of snagging a BMW. The pair were both mistresses of a man surnamed Wang, who had separately promised to buy each of them a BMW car. When the two women ran into each other on Jan 3, they began to quarrel about the car. One of them said she would do anything for Wang and jumped into the Yellow River to show she meant it. Not to be outdone, the second one followed suit. A passer-by surnamed Mi saw the two women, one of whom had cut her leg on an icicle, and pulled them from the river before calling their lover. Wang, a construction supplier from the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, arrived at the scene with his wife, who denounced the two women and told her husband to return the BMW to her. An anonymous party reported the ensuing row to the police, who recorded the incident, and Wang paid Mi for rescuing the women from the river. This is so hilarious.

  25. By Brett Michael Dykes From Yahoo! blog The Upshot A construction crew in the south-central Chinese city of Changsha has completed a 15-story hotel in just six days. As the United States and China battle over the finer points of currency manipulation at the G-20 summit, American negotiators may want to take note of this startling testimonial to the productivity of Chinese workers: A construction crew in the south-central Chinese city of Changsha has completed a 15-story hotel in just six days. If nothing else, this remarkable achievement will stoke further complaints from American economic pundits that China
